Welcome to Connoisru's Corner. This is Jordan Rich, always on
the lookout for a great dining experience, and I found
one at a new Middle Eastern restaurant, and of all places,
the North End on Salem Street. It's called Mood and
it'll put you in a great mood. It's owned and
operated by a husband and wife team, Mahmud Osman and
his beautiful wife Fatima Ibraham from Baba Ganoosh and Zucchini
Tempora to beef shwarma, striped bass, chicken shish kebab. They're

serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner and making people smile.
The head chef is Mahmood, who shares a bit of background.

It has an Egyptian flair to it, so I'm originally
from Egypt, Alexandria, growing up eating a lot of like
you know, fresh food in German. Everything was made from scratch,
everything is fresh, So we wanted to bring that here
to people so you can enjoy it.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Not only is the food delicious, but the presentation something
to behold.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
To be a little bit fun, to be upscale as well,
the more creative. That's what we're bringing.

Here with macmood in the kitchen. Fatima handles the dining room,
and she really made us feel right at home.

I feel like whoever comes in they're my family. Like
I love everyone and I whoever comes here I really appreciate,
you know, And they're like they supporting this stream.
