This is Connis Services Corner. I'm Jordan Rich continuing my
chat with a good friend, Mark Tozy running a family
business that everybody's familiar with, Pastine, the oldest distributor of
Italian food products in North America and Mark. There are
always new developments in the food business, and Pastine is
no exception. Share with us the latest news.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Finally bringing out tomato paste in the tube. You know
when you open a can of tomato paste so many
times that you don't finish that can.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
We're also our marinated mushrooms is one of our fastest
growing items, and we've just brought a new one in
from Italy which is sliced.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
And then most people know about sun dried tomatoes, but
we have a sun dried pepper from Italy which is
one of the most amazing items you've ever tasted.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
From its origins in the North End to distribution across
much of the country, Pastine products showing up in more stores.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Yes, pastine has been a regional item select for the
northeastern part of the United States and eastern Canada, but
the demand has brought us to publics in Florida and
the other states surrounding them as well as we're going
into Krueger in seventeen states starting at the end of
this year.
