This is Conser's Corner. I'm Jordan Rich talking about food, wine,
restaurants and more. Today wine is the subject and with
us Ken Hoggins of Ken'swineguide dot Com, let's talk about
some reestling wines that you feel are winners.

A year round great for us to cover, but we
really dive in in the summer. I thought i'd highlight
a couple of winners from a recent blind tasting. We
did well, starting a finger Lakes in New York, the
twenty twenty three Hillig and Hobbs, a state dry reasling
for thirty five dollars. Scored it ninety three points. Your
listeners will find this wine to be medium bodied, round,
bright and zesty. It's got some lime and white grapefruit

flavors along with some stony minerality, green tea and a
little tark green apple in there. Flavors in the city
are quite refreshing. I'd serve it slightly chilled on the
porch and a warm summer night or even a warm
fall night, and just sip it.

Second wrestling recommendation comes from Fritz Hog in Germany. The
twenty twenty three yofur sonyin air spot Lazy was well
received by the tasting panel. Was my favorite in a
recent blind tasting, ninety four plus points at thirty five dollars.
It's an absolute steal. Light bodied, nicely balanced, refined, delicate
and graceful. Gentled candied ginger and lime flavors with some

apricot and orange peel, A little hand of white peach
in there as well, and some almond cookie. It had
all sorts of fun flavors, mildly sweet. It's basically I
drink this as a dessert. Definitely well that last long.
