This is Connoser's Corner. I'm Jordan Rich talking with you
today about a beverage, a very popular one called saki.
And next Saturday, October fourth, you can celebrate World Saki
Day at Saki Day East at one hundred High Street
in Boston, six to eight pm. Here's the lady behind
it all, Marina Giordano with more.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
This is a walk around saki tasting events. You come in,
you get a glass, you get to taste sake over
one hundred and forty sake. I think that's our final list.
We'll see if we add a few more. Everyone who
pours for me is a saki expert, so you get
to learn along the way as you're tasting. We're happy
of that it's growing in Boston. People are finding sake
to be a really clean beverage. There's no additives, no preservatives,

no solid fide. It's usually cluten free, so I think
that's one of the benefits that people are finding from it.
It's a fun drink. It's also a great activity to
come out. You learn a little bit about Japanese culture.
We food at the event too, so it's a great
place to connect with people the similar interests and taste
of fusake.

Marina, you've also told me that saki is not only
brewed in Japan, but here in the US coming about twenty.

Five in America. Three actually sorry, They'll be featured at
Saki Day East for the Star which is actually in Medfield, Massachusetts,
Brooklyn Curra and Josiah Blue, which are both out of
New York. They will be pouring at Saki Day two,
and then the rest are Japanese brovers.
