Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello and welcome. It's Connoisseur's going aer. I'm Jordan Rich.
Great to be with you as always joining me. Is
a very good friend and a terrific reporter when it
comes to food. He's Mark Hurwitz's regular beat as food
writer is New England Cable News and NBC Boston. Let's
talk thy food. You say there's a restaurant in South
Braintree to rave about called Peppery and is a fan
of thy Food. I can't wait to hear your review.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Yeah, recently open early, I guess earlier this year and
I've been a few times now and I love thy Food.
I'd say it's up there with the now closed Doc
Boo and Brookline, which is saying a lot, and maybe
Boone Noon in Arlington. They have some great stuff that
you don't see on other Thai menus, like they have
a crispy fried chicken curry noodle soup that's a mouthful,
(00:45):
but it is incredible and really nice. People there, very quiet,
just a warm, welcoming place.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
I'm a traditionalist. I like a pad tie. How do
they do in that department?
Speaker 2 (00:55):
I've had it there a couple of times now and
the pad tie is outstanding, and the the drunken noodle's
really good too, if you're like the traditional or the
it's kind of americanized or drunken noodle, but it's really good.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
That sounds terrific. It's called Peppery in South Braintree for
Thai food and for all kinds of tips. You tune
to us and you hear guys like Mark Hurwitz extolling
with all the information he has. He's the food writer
for the New England cable news Network and NBC Boston,
all part of Connoisseur's Corner, WZ Boston's news radio
