This has gonness. Who's going aro? I'm Jordan Rich and
when it comes to wine, I rely on my good
friend Ken Hoggins for much of my information. His website
kenswineguide dot com and one of our favorite features when
you're here Ken is a try something new features. So
the spotlight is on. Yeah.

Both these wines come from northern Italy. The first recommendation
is the twenty twenty three Pulia Tea Freelano from Frui
region in Italy. It's twenty five dollars. If you've never
had frulano before, this one is fun and enjoyable. Everybody
to tried it liked it. Medium bodied, balanced, smooth, slightly viscous.
It's got some juicy white peach in there, some lemon,

some grapefruit as well. It was dry, its flavors of
cidity drifted away nicely. We scored this wine ninety one
plus points and we would pair it with trout almondan.

I know you have a second choice up your sleeve.
What is it?

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Yeah? This one's a red wine called lagrind. This is
from the Alto Ottage region. The twenty twenty three Muri
Grease Lagrind for twenty dollars, an absolute steal. I rarely
cover them. Wind Folly says it's a cousin of Sarah
and a grandchild of Pino noir. We had this wine
over Labor Day weekend and there were many many wines
on the table that were a lot more money, and

people just kept going back to this. It's got it
some black raspberry tea in their graphite flavors, ninety three
points to go great with a Venison steak, and the
best part about it again go right back to that price.
It was a great wine for twenty bucks.
