Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's night Side with Dan Ray on WBS Causton's news radio.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Hey, listeners, I don't like to call your listeners. Hello friends.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
This is something fun for you to try, and it's
a new way to get in touch with us and
be part of this program. What you need is the
iHeartRadio app, which you probably already have. But if you don't,
just get the iHeartRadio app. And if you don't know
how to get an app, it's something really that you
should know. So the iHeartRadio app is a good way
to learn that. And once you get it, you open

(00:32):
it up, you listen to night Side Live and the
top right corner will be a microphone. Click on the
microphone and send us a message, a question or a
comment on the show. It's great if you call in
because it can go back and forth. But if you're
shy about calling in, maybe you don't have the ability
to call in, maybe you're in a well if for
whatever reason you don't have the ability or the desire

(00:54):
to call in, do this.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
It's fun. Try it out.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
You leave you a message and then you'll hear yourself
on the red Maybe okay.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Now.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
WZ News Radio ten thirty is Night's side with Dan
Ray Bradley J for Dan, Have you ever seen a ghost?
Come on, be honest, have you ever seen a ghost?

Speaker 2 (01:17):
This is a ghost friendly area right now.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
I know that in you may not want to go
out into real life or to you to your job,
especially if you're like an airline pilot and admit to
everybody at work you saw a ghost. But this is
a ghost friendly area. This is a paranormal friendly area
for the next at least one hour. And we have
a guest with us named Charles Rosene, who is an

(01:44):
extremely interesting person with many an iron in many a fire.
But part of that, a big part of that is
the paranormal. And he's written a book that includes stories
of paranormal experiences, and he's involved with paranormal conventions like
a Sale in Paranormal Convention.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
And I would love you to be to trust.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Me enough to call me and tell me your experience
when you saw a ghost. Maybe you never told anyone
that I'm gonna I'm gonna believe you. My significant other
has seen a ghost more than once. She had a
ghost in the workplace and in a hotel, a ghost
sat on her chest until she screamed at the ghost

(02:29):
to get up. Turns out she did not know that
ahead of time, but it was a haunted hotel in Pennsylvania.
So I believe, and I will I will not doubt
your your story six one, seven, two, five, four ten
thirty relaxed teap Take a deep breath and tell us
your experience, either paranormal or a ghost. Now we talked

(02:53):
to Charles rose and a and get to know him
a little bit.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Hi, Charles, Hi, you got me all spooked out. I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Now, you do a lot of stuff. We're going to
focus on the pronomal part. But what else? What else
are you involved in?

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Oh gosh. So I'm a producer, you know, entertainer, and
I'd like to think that I present a lot of
events that, you know, phill a void and make people happy.
And I produce stuff on the music side for Beatle fans.
I do Beatle tours to Liverpool. I do Beatle festivals

(03:32):
in Connecticut and in New England. I do Dracula tours
to Transylvania for people who want to go to Romania
and follow the footsteps of the Dracula legend. I do
a ghost tour to England which is coming up July
of next year, and as you know, I'm producing the
Salem Paranormal and Horror Convention in November of this year,

(03:57):
along with writing books. I've got four books. But I
really hope that some of your listeners and friends as
we call them, well our friends, will be calling in
because I love to analyze and give credibility or take
away credibility on some of the things that they might

(04:17):
perceive as unexplained. You can't deny unexplained, but you can
also sometimes give other reasons for what is believed to
be paranormal.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Okay, so let's cover the Beatles aspect of what you
do first, just.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
A little bit.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Yeah, you folks around here now, Chachi le Prette, my
former colleague from w b C.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
He's the new England Beatles Expert, complete expert. He does
a show called Come Together at City Winery. He does
one he was up at Calloloon, and he does shows
down at Lorenzo's and he's the guy, the Beatle Guy
up here.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
I guess you're the Beatle Guy in Connecticut, right.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Yeah, Well, you know he's a dear friend and in fact,
we are doing a show that we're co hosting together
at the Regent Theater in Arlington on November I want
to say the sixteenth. It's whatever Sunday of that weekend
is where we're bringing in two great acts who were
Beatle contemporaries from the sixties, Billy J. Kramer and The Circle,

(05:23):
and they're coming in to do a concert and Chachi
and I are co hosting the event. So I'm really
excited about that. We don't get to work together a lot,
so it's that's going to be a fun event. But yeah,
I Connecticut version.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Of you as they did Red rubber Ball, right.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Yes and Turn Down Day Yep. The Circle they were
the only American band managed by the Beatles manager Brian Epstein,
and it was John Lennon who suggested they spell their
name with a y as in circle instead of cir
cl What did Billy Do? He had a bunch of hits,

(06:02):
most of which were written by Lennon McCartney. He did
the song bad to Me. He released do you Want
to Know a Secret? Before it was you Know, a
single for the Beatles, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Little Children.
He had a bunch of hits in the sixties, so
he was part of the British Invasion and also was
managed by Brian Epstein.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
So that's the Region theater when.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
November it's a matinee actually, and it's Sunday afternoon, November sixteenth.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Okay, So that covers the Beatles part of what you do.
What was the next thing, well.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
The Beatle Tours. So if someone wanted to go to
Liverpool in London, believe it or not, I got back
yesterday on this year's tour. We go to England every
summer for forty two years and we do what we
call a Magical History Tour, and I take all the
fine folks who love the Beatles as much as I
do to places they've only dreamed of going, they have

(07:00):
only heard about in the songs read in the magazines.
We go to Penny Lane, Strawberry Field, Abbey Road, we
go to the Cavern Club. It's basically following in the
you know, the footsteps of the Fab four and in
their homeland, and do that every every summer. Liverpool Tours
dot Com and we had a bunch of people actually

(07:21):
from New England this year. Of the forty or so
people who went with us, i'd say about ten of
them were from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island area.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
You don a plane, right?

Speaker 4 (07:32):
You just no. We we actually go as a group
unless people want to fly on their own. A lot
of people want to go a few days earlier or
stay a few days later. And that's fine too. I
give them the option of flying with us on a
regularly scheduled flight or going on their own. They can
do a land package or the or the plane included

(07:53):
per pack.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Do you know we ease our way into the paranormal. Yeah,
you know what. I don't want to. I don't want
to get behind the eight ball.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
So next I want to cover after this break, uh,
the Dracula Tour, because I I will. You probably didn't
know this about me, but I'm a giant fan of
Romania and I've been. I've been to you know the
places you go like brush Off and and and I

(08:23):
have even way over at Timoth Sura. So I talk
about that a little bit and and that'll happen after
this break.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
On w b Z, you're on Night Side with Dan Ray.
I'm w b Z, Boston's news Radio.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
I'm Bradley J.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
For Dan tonight, and I would love to I would
love to have you write this down bradleyja dot org.
That's how you can connect with me on social media
and also see the things I do and hear the
things I do, like original music, band music, I'm in
and I do have a travel chair. I don't call

(09:00):
Bradley Jay travel. And the reason I bring that up
now is you can see multiple videos of the places
we're about to talk to on this paranormal Dracula tour
to the area where Dracula lives lived.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
I don't know if he's alive or not.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
So we're talking with Charles Rosene paranormal. He's involved in
the paranormal, including being an author on the subject, and
we were talking about the ancilary things he does, and
one of them is it takes tours to Romania, took Transylvania,
and so why don't you tell me about that?

Speaker 4 (09:37):
Well, it's the perfect transition, the perfect segue, because on
one end with the music I do the Beatle tours
to Liverpool. And that sort of came about because one
of my dearest friends said, Charles, you love the monsters,
you love the horror stuff, you love everything in that genre.
As much as you love the Beatles, why don't you
do it. Your Beatles tour is so successful, why don't

(09:59):
you do something similar? And I go, well, what am
I gonna do with trips to Transylvania And it was
like ding, yeah, I'll do a trip to Transylvania. And
what we did is combined. Half the trip is the
legend of Dracula. We follow in the footsteps of Bram
Stoker from the novel Dracula and go up to the

(10:21):
Carpathian Mountains to Borgo Pass, and we do everything that's
Dracula related, and that is mixed with the history, the
fact the actuality of vlaed tepesh Vled the Impaler, the
perfect the person who Remania in that region of Villachia

(10:42):
and Transylvania felt was their greatest warrior and greatest hero.
And people have the greatest time on this trip because
it's like minded people. We show vampire movies on the coach.
We go to every castle, We go to places like
Siushara where I was born. We go to Snagof Island
where he was reputed to be buried, and then all

(11:06):
along the way all the places that you're familiar with
in Romania, like thrash Off and Sibui and we it's
part of the tour and it's been very successful. Drag
Tours d R A C t o rs dot com
started in ninety eight and this coming October we try
to do it every Halloween is our twenty fifth year

(11:28):
in a row.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Wow, So you are very familiar. You must know everybody
over there. That one's the restaurants you go to and
the museums you go to. You must be very plugged
in after all that time.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
I'm more plugged in in Liverpool being a Beatles guy.
In Romania, I'm more of the horror host, whereas I
have a tour guide who is a professor of history
and knows every in and out of anything you'll ever
want to ask about Romania. So it's a it's a
great perfect combination. And I've taught. Whereas I'm too dumb

(12:05):
for him to teach me all the history and all
the things I need to know about Romania. He's bright
enough to have learnt all the Dracula stuff that I
shared with.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Him about this tour too.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
Transylvania, so you obviously fly to Bucharest, and yes, do
you spend any time?

Speaker 4 (12:23):
We do? We spend you know, the first night and
the last night in the Capital City. There used to
be a Dracula themed restaurant. It closed during COVID, unfortunately,
but we you know, do you have a really nice
themed dinner there and then a guy would come out
and he was like the perfect you know, Dracula in

(12:44):
costume and fangs and makeup, and he would pick one
person from the diners and he would they go up
to his lair. He'd make believe he's biting them, and
then he would, you know, bring him into his little
horror area, and then of course they would sneak out
the back and come back to the restaurant. But it
was always like a show. It was really very special.

(13:05):
And unfortunately a few things did close during COVID and
messed up a lot of the best of not the
best of the attractions that we did on the Dracula tour,
but some of the things that I certainly looked forward to. Oh,
we replaced them with other castles. I think one of
the highlights is Castle Pineri, which is Vlad's actual original fortress,

(13:26):
and all that's left now is ruins. But you know,
for someone who's coming over from America or you know,
we have Brits who come over. We have people from
other countries who join us. We think it's the most inclusive,
comprehensive and fun trip because it's not just history and
it's not just blend sight seeing. It's just a lot

(13:48):
of the Dracula fund I incorporate into it.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
But I don't think people understand how cool Romania is.
Arriving book arrest, and then the way I did it
was kind of counterclockwise. Brush off first stop, it's only
about two hours away, then kind of up to the
top to Cigasura.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
I hope I'm saying it right.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Down to it's spelled as I B I U sibu okay.
And all of these are charming towns, really nice well
actually well, with nice squares, an ancient kind of spooky architecture.
And I do remember this one night, and I think
you'll enjoy this. I'm all alone, traveling alone in this

(14:35):
place called Cigasura. And the way we're work worked in
medieval times is rich people, maybe more maybe forever rich
people lived down the hill, poor people.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
Live down below.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
And as you go up on this this big hill,
there's this beautiful square and a tremendously old church and
no one is there and it's the dark of night,
and I can hear the moon is full.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
I'm not getting and there was a howling hung off
in the distance. And the next.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Day and I have a video of this, you can
watch it on Bradley Jay Travel. I go up and
you know this, there's a cemetery. In order to get
to the cemetery, you have to walk up like a
thousand steps in this covered stairway.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
The halted covered staircase.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
My gosh.

Speaker 4 (15:22):
The legend is if you if you don't stop, your
life will be extended. You don't, you can't stop on
the way up, and you're right, it's it's a ridiculous
amount of stairs and.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
There's there's more. I gotta finish my story.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
Oh I'm sorry, sorry, And.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
You'll see this in my video. Get up to the
top there and two very weird things will happen. The
cemetery was on fire. There was a tree on fire,
and it was not a blazing fire, but a smoky fire.
So there was this misty pall of wood smoke covering
the uh like hovering.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Over the graves.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
And there was a giant black German shepherd, which you
know might have been just a German shepherd, but it
might have been more following me around. Wow, maybe he
wanted food, but maybe, you know, maybe that was not
just a dog, and he kind of got me nervous,

(16:20):
and I headed back down the steps and then went
went on to Sibua, as you say, and then all
the way, this was my method.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
I went all the way to Timmy Shura. I hope
I'm saying that correct.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
Which is where Chichescu, the evil dictator, was killed, and
that's where the revolution started. And then it's just a hop,
skip and a jump if you want to leave from
a different town to Belgrade, Serbia, and then another it's
hop skipping a jump if you want to go to Sarajevo.
I didn't mean to make this a travelogue, but I

(16:56):
did want to tell my my scary story.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
People who've ever been singing shore as you mentioned it is,
but people don't know. It's one of the few well
preserved walled cities in Eastern Europe, and it's all contained
by a wall. And that's where Vlad was born. And
the place, the exact place where he's born is a
restaurant now where he was born, and there's a whole Fresco,

(17:25):
a whole plaque, and you can see, you know, pretty
much the history of his birth and how he went
on to conquer all those who dared to defy him
from other countries. It's remaining as beautiful. And I've seen it,
you know, in a ten twenty year period. I've seen
it go from outhouses and horse and buggies and and

(17:47):
you know, to beautiful, beautiful mansions, and the hills have
gone from you know, just farmland to ski chalets, and
as it's become more westernized and the people are very
healthy and wealthy there. It's it's a beautiful country.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
I can't confirm this, but I believe at one time
I had I had confirmed that my name Brad it
is really a version of Lad. I think b's and
v's might have might have been kind of interchangeable at
some at some point.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
Amazing.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
I can't be sure, but I mean it kind of
makes sense. I love it, so, you know, maybe.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
I really.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
The impaler, just Brad.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
All right now, I haven't really solicited calls or ghost stories,
but now for really we'd like to hear your ghost story.
I know for a fact that some of you have
seen ghosts, and I want to hear the story. Don't
be shy. No, this is the one time where you
can tell you a ghost story or in thinking you

(19:02):
maybe sor a ghost, and know that nobody's going to
be laughing. We we believe and we want to hear
your story. Also, you do paranormal investigations and I want
to find I want to find out how that works,
what kind of equipment you use, how you know, how
you how you read the equipment, what are you looking for,

(19:23):
et cetera. And we'll continue in a moment with Charles
Rosen on w b Z.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
You're on Night Side with Dan Ray on WBZ Boston's
News Radiolus.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Correct, it is Bradley j Tonight for Dan.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
We're speaking with Charles Rose and I who among other things,
is a paranormal uh hunter, and he's very much into
the paranormal. He's wits together a paranormal convention and we
I've asked you to share your ghost stories. Maybe ghosts
is not the word the word, but it's good enough.

(20:00):
And if you're ready, Charles, we have Stephen and also
in Connecticut.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Hi, Stephen, you're on WBZ.

Speaker 5 (20:07):
How you doing? How you doing? I got a couple
of them. I had one probably about two months ago.
I was coming home and at the end of my driveway,
I have columns with the lights on it, and I
pulled up, and I have cameras, and I pulled up
and I went to the house. You know. It's I
got home like two three o'clock in the morning. And

(20:29):
the next day I look at my cameras and I
see me getting out of my vehicle going into the house.
And as I go in and before the garage door
goes down, something ran from the light right right behind me.
I could see it run right behind me. I showed

(20:50):
it to my wife. I showed it to my mother
in law. They couldn't believe it. It was like unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
So did you have a are you saying you had
a video?

Speaker 5 (21:01):
It's I have it on video. I have it on video.
I was showing it to everybody.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
As a shadow figure. How would you describe it?

Speaker 5 (21:11):
It was? It was like a person. You can you
can see it running, like physically running in before the
garage door went down. I went in first, and it
came from the light at the end of the driveway
and ran right in right behind me. As the garage
door was going down. You see me going in, and
you see it going right behind me.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
So it wasn't a shadow figure or a bright light
or a foggy fuzzy thing.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
It looked completely like a human, like a human.

Speaker 5 (21:41):
A human it was. It was a human. It was
shaped like a human and everything running. You see it
running running right behind me, Like is there someone was
running right behind me?

Speaker 2 (21:50):
Could have been Could it have been an intruder human?

Speaker 5 (21:56):
No? No, because it's like it wasn't like like a person.
It was like a figure, like like, how can you
explain it? Like if if you took a cloud and
made it a person like running in behind you like that,
you couldn't see a face. You can see, you know
what I mean? You can see like like this figure

(22:19):
of a person.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
That's right now, and you have it on video.

Speaker 5 (22:25):
I have it on video.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
I wish I wish you could somehow send it to me.
But don't worry about that. Wow, Okay, that one.

Speaker 5 (22:34):
I have another one. I was getting ready for bed
at eleven o'clock at night. My wife is downstairs with
the kids, and I had bought an older house from
the nineteen forties or something, and when I was in bed,
you know. I go to my bedroom. I close the
door and I'm laying there. I'm like getting ready to

(22:58):
fall asleep. All of a sudden, I hed to go open,
and I feel a blanket moved, and I thought it
was my wife getting on the bed and stuff and anything.
Laying down. You feel the old mattress move and everything
like right up against me. She got it right up
against me. And when I tried to hug her, there
was nobody there. I was like, and I jumped up

(23:20):
and ran out of the room. And then I found
out that there was an older woman that owned the
house and passed away, and she passed away into her
in that room.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
It is convincing, you tell her, very convincing. Charles. Do
you have any comments?

Speaker 4 (23:37):
Yeah, I definitely want to comment. So what he described
is commonly known as a shadow figure, and first of all,
I want to say, I'm glad it was that rather
than an intruder, because an intruder can could do a
lot more harm. A true person could have done a
lot more damage and could have been a lot more

(23:59):
mean thing than any shadow figure could have. I'd be
curious if that has happened more than once where in
Connecticut are you seeing?

Speaker 5 (24:09):
I'm in hot fridge in Hartford and I and I
and I also had after I showed everyone my cause
my father log passed away like a couple of months before,
and everyone telling me that that has to be him
because we have have his erring in the house and

(24:31):
they're saying that's just him like running around. I'm like,
oh my god, Well.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
Thank you very much for sharing those two.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
Yeah, And the second story is really interesting because if
in fact it was a visitor of a gal who
used to live there, that makes it all the more interesting.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
When I hear these type of stories, and I'm as
much a debunker as I am uh a promoter of
paranormal my think is always that he was asleep. He
had fallen asleep and dreamt that, you know, in that
half awake, half asleep kind of mode, and you then
you do wake up and think that you just really

(25:12):
had that really happened, and you jump out of bed
in a quick panic. So there's no way we're gonna
trust him that he was definitely awake and it happened.
But more likely in that scenario, I think he was
probably having a little half awake half half asleep dream.

Speaker 5 (25:29):
I ran down stairs and looked at my wife like
she looked at me like, what are you doing up?
You're supposed to want to bed, and I just I
didn't want to go back to bed after that.

Speaker 3 (25:41):
So, Charles, are you skeptical of the one in the bedroom,
but you're a believer in the one in the garage?

Speaker 4 (25:48):
I am? I am, And it's really funny because I'm
part of a paranormal team. Guys. It's called the Shaman
and the Showman, and I'm the showman. I'm the one
who you know, promotes the events, gets people to go.
And my partner, he's the shaman. He's the real deal.
He's he's a psychic, he's a shaman, he's a medium,

(26:12):
he's an EmPATH. He's got all that. He's got the
third eye and the sixth sense and I don't. And
our friend who's calling us from Hartford, Connecticut might very
well be someone with with untapped gifts, and if so,
he might be a magnet for spirits and for anomaly

(26:33):
anomalies like that.

Speaker 5 (26:35):
There's certainly I wish I could, I wish I can
get the video to you and you see it. You'll
see it clearly. I mean it's not like it's hidden.
It's not like it might look like something else. You
actually see a figure like like run right behind me
before the garage door comes down.

Speaker 3 (26:53):
Question, he is there a website where he can go
to that has your email on it, the he can
send a video.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
You know, the best thing to do is to go
to Salem para con It's s A L E M
P A R A c O N dot org and
we're having you know, the Salem Paranormal Convention, which we'll
talk about it a little while. But on that website
is my phone number. And I just encourage people just

(27:22):
just call me and and we'll figure out how I
can you know, view these things. And the other thing
is people might not call, might be having more of
an ominous, more of a dangerous scenario where they're being
visited and it maybe it's gone to the point where
they're being touched, where they're being uh you know, maybe
maybe things that aren't as cool as a quick you know,

(27:46):
run by or a visit or just a shadow. And
we do we do that as a service. We never
would charge if somebody is having really trouble with spirits
and they need a they need them taken out, or
they need things clean, we would do that.

Speaker 5 (28:01):
So the same Still, I still have experience with like
you hear a door close and nobody's there. Yes, you'll
hear like somebody walking upstairs and you go check it.
There's nobody there, you know what I mean. It's it's
it's like it's scary, let's put that way.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
Scary, but there's no you know, there's no harm there.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
But there's nothing can touch you. That's I don't know
if they can touch you, can't they poke your eye
out or.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Well, a lot of that is a person manifesting it.
And if you have good intentions and if you have
good manifestations in the likelihood, I mean one out of
a million, are you touched? Are you? Are you? You
know there's there's any kind of contact, And it has
to be a very strong spirit to do that, and
have to have a very good reason to do it,

(28:54):
because there's there's you know, one we hardly hear of that.
We'll hear of hauntings all the time, of possessed homes
of businesses, and well, you know, we'll we'll cleanse, we'll
do whatever we need to. But one out of so
few was there where there's a scratch or a touch
or even a brush against the skin. You know, that's
very hard for them to do. So when that's done,

(29:17):
there has to be a good reason for it.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
Okay, Sandy, after this brief break, we will go to you.
That's Sandy in New Hampshire, and we'll we'll return with
Charles and we'll talk to Sandy after.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
This night side with Dan Ray on WBZ, Boston's news radio.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
Our guest is Charles Roseney, paranormal investigator, and we're going
to New Hampshire now to speak with Sandy. She called
in at six one seven five four thirty as I
hope you will.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
If you have a.

Speaker 3 (29:54):
Paranormal experience of any kind. Heck, even in I don't
even mind hearing about it alien experience. I know one
of the kids I went to high school with Star Spaceship,
but that's not really Charles's bag. Still, I kind of
want to hear about it, but especially especially paranormal things
like ghost experiences. Sandy in New Hampshire, It's such a

(30:15):
pleasure to speak with you.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
Hi.

Speaker 6 (30:19):
So I'm under Earth and one day doctor told me
to make sure a patient who had arrived god medication
as soon as as soon as it came, and I
walked tied by his room and thought he saw I
haze in his room, but then continued on and when
his medication came, I went to the doorway to give

(30:42):
his meds and I thought I heard someone call me
down befall, so I went to go look to see
who it might be, and no one was there, so
I was Then I went to the doorway again and
he I thought I heard someone come from me. I'm
a direction, so I walked down the hall. Anybody there,
No nobody called me. I went back to the room

(31:04):
a third time in the doorway, who heard someone called
my name louder back in the other direction, So I
went down the hall around the corner to eve the
person was there. So was there, So I said, well,
something doesn't want me near that room. I finished my
bed path and then went back to him last and
apologized for not getting his medication to him right away,

(31:28):
and he told me that was okay. He was going home, sous,
And I asked him, who said that? Who told you that?
Knowing I'd been the only one near that door for
at least about an hour and He told me the
two angels that were standing at the bottom of my bed,
why didn't you come in when they were talking to me?

(31:50):
You were in the doorway at least times.

Speaker 3 (31:54):
Wow, So there were actually was in the room when
you had poked your head in that you couldn't see,
but he could see them.

Speaker 6 (32:02):
He could see that, and he could see me in
the doorway. And he counted the number of times he
and I had seen a haze and sort of looked
back the first time in the rule. But you know,
I was like, huh, just would have brushed it off.

Speaker 4 (32:17):
Wow, Sandy, I have a question for you.

Speaker 6 (32:20):
Uh huh?

Speaker 4 (32:21):
Did he pass away thereafter two days later?

Speaker 6 (32:26):
Yep?

Speaker 4 (32:27):
Wow? Wow?

Speaker 6 (32:28):
And I and I told after that any patients that
mentioned in angel I told him about it. It went
into my report and another time. But actually before that,
I uh, when I first became a nurse, I was
taken care of someone who had done a fellow nurse.

(32:51):
She was had been a nun and her name was
mister Dorothy, and I was to spend a little extra
time in her room with her and talked to her,
and she asked me how my friends, our friend Stacy,
was doing, how her twins were, and I told so.

Speaker 5 (33:12):
She sorry.

Speaker 6 (33:13):
She asked me how my twins were, and I told
her I didn't have twins, but I wouldn't mind having twins.
My friends friend Stacey had twin girls. She told me
she would have put a good word into me when
she crossed over, and that conversation went out of my
mind to tell my sister pointed out Christmas pitches with
my twins in them and they had sort fights on

(33:37):
their foreheads. One was shaped like a check mok and
the other was shaped like a ditto sign. And I
was like, ep, Sister Dorothy, that she showed me that,
you know, she put the word in for me. That's
what I thought.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
Just wow, another interesting story, any further, any follow up, Charles, No, it's.

Speaker 4 (33:59):
I love the nurses have some of the most amazing
stories of unexplained and supernatural you know, as you know,
I have a book out True Ghost Stories of Connecticut,
and I do a lot of library presentations, and I
talked the first thing I ask you the audience is
who believes in ghosts? And everyone raises their hands. Second

(34:22):
thing I say is who's had a paranormal experience? And
literally every other person raises their hand, and I go
on and talk about my history and my background and
what I do, and then I read a chapter from
the book. And there's thirty three chapters, but the one
I read, and it's too long to go tell it now,
but the one I read is from a nurse who

(34:45):
has had the most unbelievable experience. And I welcome if
people have, you know, things that they would like to share,
I would put it in the book. Some of the
ones that come across my desk are hospitals and nurses
and doctors, and it's it's you can't explain it, and

(35:06):
so many doctors and so many nurses you know, understand
and and believe because they've been so close to it
and been so exposed to it.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
Thank you very much for sharing that, Sandy. I really
appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
Day by anyone else, see how I don't know easy
and that cathartic it may be to share that story.
We're serious, listeners, We're not gonna we're not gonna pooh
pooh what you say. Charles does do near death experiences,
so to count any.

Speaker 4 (35:40):
Paranormal absolutely absolutely. I mean, my gosh, near death experiences
bring out so much of the other side, because that's
you're you're never that, you're never closer, and you're you're
never going to be closer until you cross over.

Speaker 3 (35:55):
Yeah, let me and we'll keep you to the next hour,
because I want to hear some of the stories that
people have related to for your book, and I also
want to hear some more stories from our friends when
they called six one, seven, two, five, four, ten thirty.
But this, this might you might find this interesting. When
I was seventeen, I attended operating room technician school. I graduate,

(36:18):
it's only one year. And then when there was no
operating room job at that hospital, I worked in the
emergency department. So I was eighteen and a half and
I was an emergency room technician and very involved in
anything that happened in there. And unfortunately, sometimes people would
come in alive and they would pass away right there

(36:40):
on the table, right there. And then after, you know,
after the doctors had left and the nurses had left,
and everything was still not cleaned up yet.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
But I would not leave.

Speaker 3 (36:54):
I would go over to like the stainless steel table
and sit on a stew and stay in there maybe
five or ten minutes, very respectfully, to see if I
could feel anything happen, like any spirit rising or anything
at all, because you do hear about people in their

(37:16):
near death experiences say they were hovering above above and
off to the side of all the ongoings. They say
they can see the doctors and the nurses and they
can recall what was said. Because of course, I was
very respectful, but I also wanted to see if somehow
I could sense something going on. But I guess that

(37:41):
I'm not not sensitive enough because I never did. But
I did that a number of times. I never did,
but that doesn't mean other people don't, and that doesn't
mean it doesn't happen. Do you have any you know
I should save this because I don't want to cut
you off because we're going to go to the news
and then we'll keep you. But I'm curious if to

(38:03):
see if you know of any scientific explanations that people
may have for those kind of near death experiences where
they see the light or you know, they they heart
stops and they can see what's going on from above
and see things that they could never have seen while

(38:23):
laying on the table.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
I think that's all very interesting.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
We'll continue, We'll give you the quick pre news.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
Ten seconds to save it.

Speaker 4 (38:31):
No answer to that period.

Speaker 3 (38:33):
All right, Oh yeah, could have saved it, but that's okay.
We will continue after this. After this news on WBZ
