(00:01):
It's nice with Dan Ray. I'mdoll you easy Boston's News Radio. Thanks
Dan Watkins. I'm going ahead withthe conversation about terrorism in the US.
It's kicked off by the arrest ofthese eight individuals. A little unclear from
the different reports that they were arrestedin three US cities, Los Angeles,
(00:23):
New York, and Philadelphia. Notsure how many in each city. They
apparently were from Tajikistan, which isone of the old Soviet republics part of
what was the Soviet Union, andthe US, according to all the news
reports I have looked at today, said that the individuals had The US has
(00:46):
later learned information that tied these peopleto isis now. Christopher Ray, the
director of the FBI, has warnedrepeatedly about the possible ability of a coordinated
attack in this country. He says, there are red lights flashing. He
(01:06):
described, of course, what happenedin Moscow at that concert hall in March,
late March, well, March twentysecond, when iss K killed one
hundred and forty five people. Beforewe go right back to phone calls,
and we will, and the onlyline that's open is six point seven nine,
three, one, ten, thirtyThis was Christopher Ray recently talking about
(01:27):
the dangers that he perceives play itRUP. When I sat here last year,
I walked through how we were alreadyin a heightened threat environment, and
since then we've seen the threat fromforeign terrorists rise to a whole other level.
(01:47):
After October seventh, we continue tosee the cartels push fentanyl and other
dangerous drugs into every corner of thecountry, claiming countless American lives. We've
seen a space of ransomware attacks andother cyber attacks impacting parts of our critical
infrastructure and businesses, both large andsmall. Violent crime, which reached alarming
(02:10):
levels coming out of the pandemic, remains far too high and is impacting far
too many communities. China continues itsrelentless efforts to steal our intellectual property and
most valuable information, and that's justscratching the surface. And of course,
in the last few days, anuclear powered Russian warship with some some very
(02:39):
hot heavy duty military equipment has rolledinto Havana Harbor uh obviously Russias telling us
that they're around. So we gotwe got, we get a variety of
problems. We're just going to goto as many folks as we can this
hour. I'd love to hear fromyou if you agree with me that and
(03:00):
also with Christopher Ray no relation thatthe terror threat in this country from foreign
terrorists is very high, very high. If it were up to me,
and of course it's not, Iwould take those terrorists, those individuals from
to Stikistan. I would fly themback to t Stekastan, and I would
(03:21):
drop them from the plane at aboutthirty thousand feet. Maybe the parachutes who
work, maybe they wouldn't. Whoknows, We'll get I certainly wouldn't,
wouldn't deport them and fly them backfor his class, Wayne and Brockden,
Wayne, you're next on Nightsiger, righthead? Wayne? Hey, Dan?
And god forbid these terrorists from Tajikastancommitted some heinous acts of terror, then
(03:46):
what what would Biden do? Wouldwe send tens of thousands of our young
heroes over to Tajikistan and bomb thehell out of them in retribution? You
know, Well, here's the problem. I don't think our fight is with
the people would be with the peopleunder that circumstance of Tajikistan. I think
(04:06):
our fight is with Isis, whichI thought had been eliminated, but apparently
it has reconstituted. Yeah, Nowdrowning is so synonymous with water or vice
versa, and that will tell methat this whole situation is because of democrats
(04:29):
and liberalism that are going to bethe death of our country. I mean,
you even say around here, seesomething, say something, we're a
sanctuary state. I have you knowin the area that I live, this
houses with all of these different familiesin there, and people and who knows
who they are and whatever, youknow, God love them. They're they're
coming, they're paying their bills, are doing whatever. But they might be
(04:51):
terrorists. And I mean if Isay something, I just don't. I
actually call the FBI over the winterabout these suspicious drone going up and down
these these huge power lines. Theynever called me back. But that that
observation, uh, that you madeis a very important observation, okay.
(05:13):
Uh, And I am very disappointedthat no one from the FBI at least
called you back. And seems tome, uh that you're you're the you're
you're the eyes and ears of oursand ears of our country. Uh.
For you to call the FBI andnot to even get a return phone call
on something that you know, ifyou said, gee, I think the
lady across the street is looking out, who win do it? Yeah?
(05:36):
I mean I think you can dismissthat, Okay. But if you live
in an apartment building or a condominiumbuilding, and all of a sudden you
see a lot more foot traffic goingin and out of an apartment uh,
and they happen to be you know, young men maybe of Middle Eastern extraction.
Uh, and they seem to be, you know, very clandestine in
(05:57):
their activities. I wouldn't does ittake to call now? Someone might say,
well, you're Islamic phobec. No, I'm not. I'm concerned about
what seems to me, you know, if it's if it's two or three
roommates and I see them all thetime, I'm not concerned about that.
But if all of a sudden thefoot traffic becomes heavier and heavier and heavier
all of a sudden, I thinkit's legitimate for for your tentacles who are
(06:20):
concerned to go up. Yeah. And again the fact that there are how
many hundreds of sanctuary cities or statesor areas in the country, this state
in particular, you know, we'repaying sixty five to eighty thousand dollars a
year for one motel room for migrants, the money that it's costing, And
(06:43):
that's kind of a different story fromthe terrorism. But again it's unintended consequences
of an open border. And again, will any person that's voting Democrat,
you voted for Liz Warne, forEd Barky, for Aana Press, for
all of these Democrats that are goingto Washington, that have taken a swornhoaf
(07:05):
to protect you, to protect me, to protect protect the country and the
sovereignty of the border, and they'rejust leaving it wide open. And we
all know why because now we've goteleven million new people that might be voting
Democrat. But they again, I'llcome back to my first statement, the
Democrats will be responsible and God forbidfor Oh in real quick, real quick,
(07:29):
I've wrote a bunch of things downon a post it note. You
know, when you were talking aboutthe nine to eleven hijackers, Now they
had a paper trail because they allhad visas or some sort of documents and
we could trace them. Millions ofpeople coming in Now we don't know who
they are, So how are theygonna even the FBI, How are they
going to track people down that mayhave given false ideas or this? It's
(07:55):
such Well, at the border, people are discarding their passports, their licenses.
They do not want their identity known. Now, I don't know if
some of them feel they want tocome here and get a fresh start.
And if their name is, youknow, Joe Smith, I'll keep it.
You know, it's Joe Smith.Joe Smith wants to come here.
(08:16):
And I don't know what that whatyou would find out if you knew what
his or her back. But whywould anyone discard a license or a passport?
It is coming and then the gutaways. But I will say it again.
I'm on Liz Warren's Facebook page andI see all of her followers,
oh we love you with this, with that, and I'll always go in
(08:37):
and say, oh yeah, Well, five thousand people across the border today,
and I mean the basement is leakingand they've got a teaspoon they're trying
to take the water out of it. With all of these other problems in
the country which need addressing, butthe border should be number one. And
I put it right at the feetof the Democrats. Well, you have
(08:58):
every right to do that. Itis the The number of people that have
come in across the border in thelast three and a half years is a
staggering number. Is a staggering number. And there were policies and executive orders
that President Biden did execute. Andit's very difficult for Democrats in his party
to go after the president. ButI think some of the more of them
(09:20):
should have had. The one guythat went after them was a congressman from
a Democratic congressman from Texas named HenryQuaar and he's been indicted. So really,
yeah, that's true, but evenjust one for one hero to step
up and be the voice of Democratsand say just has to stop. But
(09:41):
nobody does. Well this guy, this guy go look, go look him
up, Henry Quay, a longtime congressman, Democratic congressman from Texas.
I believe his district is a boardeddistrict and his constituents, they're the ones
that we're dealing with the brunt ofthe reaction now. Of course, a
lot of the folk we came acrossthe border have found Massachusetts for home.
(10:01):
There once again, they're sleeping atLogan Airport. I'm told wide open.
There have been fights at Logan Airport. I don't see any of the local
TV stations going over there and coveringit. I don't know why just start
the other night for the first timeand I haven't seen it like the winter.
Yeah, you thought it all wentaway once they opened up the mill,
(10:22):
once they they took over the Malacast Recreation Center from poor kids in
Roxbury. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I appreciate I appreciate
your calls, and I appreciate yourpassion. And there's nothing you can say
I'm going to disagree with. LizWarren is up for re election this fall.
Uh, there's there are some Republicanswho had let one Republican will end
(10:43):
up standing against. We've had JohnDeaton on a couple of times. We
will have Ian kan on as earlyas tomorrow night a second time. He's
a city councilor from Cambridge, frommy from Quincy. Excuse me. Look,
if she wants to come on andtalk to me and my listeners,
we would welcome her. But she'snever tell me why. And open border
is good, tell me why inopen border, I don't think there's any
(11:05):
benefit to an open border at allat all. We have a right to
have a border, and a borderby definition should say to people, if
you want to apply for asylum here, if you want to apply for citizenship,
we have a process. That's whatthe United States is about. We
have a line. It's like yougo to the airport and when they start
to board you on the plane andthey say, okay, we're gonna board
(11:28):
people who are in business class orfirst class, or people who have a
disability. You don't rush up thereand say, well, I have a
disability. Well what you do?Well, not really, but I want
to board early because I want toget You know, you have to wait
in this kind. I mean yougo to the supermarket, okay, and
there's there's two lines open, andthere's a five people in each line.
You don't cut in front of everybodyand say, well, I'm waiting from
(11:52):
Brockton. I need to get mypay my mails here, so please get
out of my way. That's notthe American way. We've learned since we
were in school, when the teacherstell us you got to line up over
there, maybe you lined up basedupon alphabet. I know we did that
when we were in grammar school. You learned where your place was in line.
If you're in the military, youlearned where your place was in line.
If you play on a sports click, if you if you waste.
(12:15):
If you play in a sports teamand you and you want to play catcher
or you want to play first base, you just don't run out the first
base on a team the manager makesup a lineup and said, so and
stars playing first base tonight, you'replaying left field. I don't want to
play left field. I'm just gonnastand at first brace until you let me
play. That's that's what's going onat the border. Go ahead. I'm
sorry, No, hey, Iworked up the street from here today it's
(12:37):
Stone Rehab and Newton lovely place onElliott Street. Excellent, excellent. You
entertained some people, I hope andassisted. Let around, get around all
right, thanks Wayne. I'm waypast my bark now. Sorry, we
got I've gone past my break herewith Wayne, I apologize. One line
at six one seven, two fivefour. Another line in six one seven
(12:58):
ninth, Wake Up Massachusetts, Wakeup America. Back after this now bent
to Dan Ray line from the WindowWorld Light Side Studios on w b Z
News Radio. We're gonna pick thepace up here a little bit. Let
me go to Warren in Fall River. Warren, I appreciate your patience.
Thank you so much for calling ingretta headwarn. Okay, Dan, I
(13:22):
hate to say it, but we'realready under attack in this country. I
mean, if you look at identitystuff, and you know that has gone
up unbelievably in the in the pastcouple of years, yep. And and
that's you know, it goes alongwith the rise in illegal immigration. So
(13:45):
we are already under attack with that. And we we got we got the
left who is complicit and know allthis. And you know, a couple
of calls, a couple of callyears ago, you asked the question,
why aren't people outraged by this? And it's because the main street, in
(14:05):
the mainstream media classes it over.I mean, we don't hear the the
you know, the stories of womenbeing raped at the border, or the
horror stories that happen at the border. You know, I happen to agree
with you, women, I happento agree with you. I watched I
(14:26):
watched ABC Evening News, and itall comes down to story selection. I
mean, you had this event, you had this dent in New York on
Monday. If you haven't seen it, all these these these palest so called
they're not Palestinian protesters. They're home. They're pro homouse protesters. Okay,
(14:48):
they get on a train, Imean there has to be twenty five or
thirty of them, so their verypresence intimidates the people in the train and
they start yelling. You know, okay, if you're a Zionist, raise
your hand, and are actually somepeople who raise their head had the courage
to raise their head. Okay, you can get off the train now,
but if you stay on the train, you're making a mistake. They're intimidating
(15:09):
people in New York. The leadstory on every network newscast that night,
okay, because it should have been. That's that's where that's where literally Nazi
Germany started with that. And alsoI'm going to make it comparison like if
you remember what happened with the Ukraine, and we watched for months as the
(15:33):
Russian as Russia, you know, surrounded, built up with the croups,
all right, and the same thing'shappening here in this country. And it's
the nightmare scenario that that keeps meup at night, where where all these
military aged men are coming over theborder. Healthy is healthy and fit,
(15:58):
and and they're getting bust to whereverthey want to go, you know,
go to Boston, go to goto New York, go to Chicago.
Some cases they're flown to where theywant to go. You know. Just
coming back to the story in NewYork, which really appalls me. Can
you imagine if instead of the groupgetting on again, it dressed up in
(16:18):
Palestinian garb. Okay, they haveflags and all of that. Can you
imagine if if some other group goton, Uh, and we're saying about
any other ethnic group, okay, all the blacks on the train, raise
your hand, whatever, who haveyou know? Okay, you you better
get off now. Or all thegays or whatever, or all the Irish
(16:40):
okay, or all or all theHispanic people get off whatever. You would
have that as the lead story inthe Ninth Night Leaders. But we have
become almost annoyed to it. It'slike, well, it's another example of
anti Semitism. Yeah, but we'rebut we're more worried about well, you
know, WoT policies. Well,we're more worried. We're more worried about
(17:04):
whether Caitlin Clark has made the USwomen's basketball team, or what will is
Taylors uh Swift still dating you knowKelsey the football player with the exactly And
we were worried about things that weshouldn't that shouldn't even be on them,
worry about things that I mean more, things that are reletive, that are
(17:27):
irrelevant to us. Simply the bordershould be the lead story every night.
It hasn't been for three it hasn'tbeen for three and a half years,
and it's not going to start anytimesoon, ye in my opinion. Well,
and I appreciate you call very much. Thank you. Okay, I
appreciate you well, thank you verymuch. Uh. The only line that
(17:48):
we have opened is six one, seven nine, ten thirty. I don't
want to short change anyone. SoI think what we're going to do is
take the news a little early. We got Gym coming up Ken in Florida,
we got Brenda in Winchester, andI got room for you at six
months, seven nine three thirty. Are we asleep? We have a history
in this country. We were asleepbefore World War Two. We were isolationists
(18:12):
in many respects. We watched asthe Japanese built up their military power and
we weren't concerned about that. Wewere asleep before nine to eleven. We
should have known about what was goingon there. There was a lone FBI
agent, a woman out of Minnesota, who tried to run it up the
(18:32):
chain of command because she knew thatthere were people who were just asking how
to learn how to fly a plane. They didn't want to know anything about
taking off for landing. They justwanted to know how to navigate a plane
once you were in the air. We're a wealthy country. We are a
rich country. We're a smart country, and yet sometimes we fall asleep and
(18:55):
I just have that feeling that we'reasleep. Where's the outrage over what happened
to these Jewish people on this trainin New York City. Where's the outrage?
There is none. There is none. I'm talking about it. I
haven't had one call about that. You were more than welcome to chime in
about that. They should have arrestedevery one of those punks, every one
(19:18):
of those punks. Charge them withhate crimes, charge them with whatever they
could throw the book at them. They could arguably charge them with kidnapping and
saying that these people were held againsttheir will, or they certainly could charge
them. In my opinion with assault, were threatened with threatening people with hate
(19:41):
crimes. There's some real hate crimesthere. We'll be back on Nightside right
after this news break at the bottomof the hour. If you're on night
Side with Dan Ray on Boston's newsradio. Okay, back we go.
Let's go to Jim in Kansas City. Jim, you were next, don
N. I said, welcome back, Hey, Jim, Dan, Hi,
(20:02):
thanks for taking my call. UhSo I called, well, I
decided to call back when you werestill talking about isis being caught on the
border? Yep? Okay, Andthese guys weren't caught on the border.
These guys were caught in New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia. This particular
guy, the ones I'm talking about, uh huh okay, well, so,
(20:26):
uh, just to kind of putthings in perspective, I'm about as
afraid of them as I was ofPatty Hurst when Patty Hurst was being uh
you know, oh, like ascarecrow or whatever. The thing about it.
The way I look at it,these police protective organizations, the Homeland
(20:49):
Security FBI, the NSA, uhso on and on like that. They're
here to protect us, and Ilook at them kind of like if I
somebody to mow my lawn and theyfound an edible mushroom in my yard,
and they came inside and told meabout the edible mushroom. And then the
next time they came to mow mylawn, they wanted to be paid an
(21:10):
extra fifty bucks because they provided mewith an edible mushroom. I don't care
where they come from, you know, to me, a terrorist is a
terrorist. Interrogate them, get youknow, finding features on them, and
get rid of them, and findsome more of them. I really don't
care if they're ISIS. And Okay, the other thing about the United States
(21:32):
is that weird. We're descendant ofwhat the crown still considers it to be
terrorists right there in the Boston harborswhere they had the Boston Tea party.
So you probably know something about it. So it's a difference, Jim,
Jim, with all due respect, there's a difference between what people did in
the Boston tea party and what ISISdid. Isis beheaded US citizens journalists.
(22:00):
Okay, again, if they killif they kill me, I don't care
whether they shot me or cut myhead off. I'm still dead. You
know. The thing is that that. Like I said, there, I
don't know exactly why they do it. But so what is your what is
your point? What I'm here's mymy argument. Point is me give you
(22:22):
my argument, then you can respondto it. My argument is I feel
apprehensive. I feel that because ofthe open border and because of these particular
individuals eight of them, eight ofthem from Tajikistan, a place that most
Americans have no idea where it is. You and I have cares. I
(22:44):
don't care where they're from, youknow, Okay, well we care?
Did you care where where the nineto eleven hijackers are from? Did you
care where the Boston bombers were from? No? Why do I care?
I don't care where they're from.I care about what they plan to do.
You know? Do you think? And then get back to work work?
Okay, great, okay, Jim, thank you very much. It
(23:07):
was an excellent point you made tonight. I was I was stunned by you,
Lucidity. Thank you very much, appreciate it. Thanks. Okay,
Let's go to Ken in Florida.Ken, you were next one night side?
Correct? Hey, Dan, I'llare you today. I think I'm
(23:27):
proffering a simple question, and Ithink Jim might have overthought it. Yeah,
I think so. Excuse me,but he cleared my throat. I
love to follow up call like that. That's great. Sorry, Dan,
Uh jeez, a few points.Uh that was kind of out there.
(23:48):
Uh so I wanted to mention soagain. I'm down to Florida, by
the way. How you doing downthere? You're right in the eye of
this storm. Literally we come uppast my bedtime. Well, only climb
my throat. Hold on, I'mworking at home, so I'm up past
my bedtime working home tomorrow. Wegot about a foot of rain. But
(24:11):
my house is not elevated, butit drains, so all my palm trees,
my grass are soaking up all thatrain. So it's nice. Okay,
we probably got about a foot ofrain this week. And the only
problem of the video, it's frighteningwhen you see it. It's frightening when
you see it, that's for sure. Say that again. It's frightening when
you see the video. I seecars floating along or cars up to you.
(24:36):
For that's near my office. Butyeah, it does, you know,
And I don't know what it is. It's just because in this part
of Florida, they built all thecanals and you get development and driveways,
so the water has no place togo. But you know, in the
old days it was all saturated withsand. It would just soak up.
So it's part of development and it'sgrowing like you know, crazy down here.
(25:03):
So so tell us about what we'retalking about. Are you concerned?
I really feel that that in thenext few months are going to be extraordinarily
dangerous for this country. You knowwhat, Dan, part of my job
I teach hurricane preparedness classes and I'mgoing to an expost saturday, Cape Coral
where I live to prepare for that. And again, regardless of your political
(25:27):
positions on climate change or global warming, whatever, something seems to be happening.
So part of my job is youknow, I don't get political,
but the storms in the ocean.Temperature in the Pacific is very, very
high, which is why the hurricaneforecast in the Atlantic hurricane forecast is extremely
(25:52):
uh dangerous. I guess you'd saythis year. So that's part of what
it's really is. We talked aboutthat, but I want to bring you
back to what we're talking about tonight, and that is the we have eight
people from Tajakstan, a part ofthe world that probably most of us hadn't
(26:14):
heard of before tonight, eight ofthem who came here living in la New
York and Philadelphia. Oh similar, what the terrorists here? After? I
make my quick point you mentioned ElizabethWarren. Do you play that song for
me? Do you have the songstill? Yeah? Not tonight. Ken,
I'm trying to get you on point. Go ahead, Okay, I'll
be quick. I'll be quick.Uh. I'm very concerned and this is
(26:41):
I damn. Maybe you could lightenme on this. Why do the Democrats
insist that the border has been oris secure or has been until of course
the election is coming up, andall the experts, terrorist experts, border
experts have been talking about this, discussing this for the last two three years,
(27:04):
that if you have an open border, you're going to allow terrorists and
you know, from all these countriesto come in and we're going to have
another nine to eleven. It maynot. I mean, I think the
Democrats are two three years when DonaldTrumps president and then I'll turn around and
blame Trump. I think the Democratsare tied to the policies from the White
(27:26):
House. President Biden is a Democratand Democrats tend to support democratic policies.
Republicans tend to support Republican policies.I don't really want to make it political
tonight. Some people have tried tomake it political. My concern is,
however we got here, we're here, and the day that a suitcase nuke
is detonated, or the day thatsome sort of biological weapon is put into
(27:48):
a subway system, whether it's inBoston or New York or Chicago or wherever,
it will be Americans who are killed. It will not discriminate and say
we're just going to kill Democrats,We're just going to kill Republicans. Do
you guys disagree this is political becauseit's the Democrats that allowed us to happen.
Trump Trump had remained in Mexico. We had a secure border, did
(28:11):
we not? I mean, Ithink the border was. I don't think
that Bard has ever been secure, but I think it was much more secure
under Donald Trump. There's no questionif we have eight, ten, thirteen,
whatever the numbers million people coming acrossa border, I mean, it
is. I'm not disputing that.I'm not disputing that. I'm simply trying
to say, here's where we aretoday. One of the things that all
(28:34):
of us could do is be alittle more alert to our surroundings and be
a little less intimidated by those whowould discoverage us from saying something if we
see something. That's all. No, I agree, but I think the
damage is done. Unfortunately, Danso well, that's a fatalistic view,
which which of course none of us. I mean, you always assume,
(28:59):
can you know as well as Ido. You and I played sports when
we're a kid. What you weretaught game isn't over to the last out,
And I'm looking at it if wehave, hopefully we can prevent the
next terrorist attack. That's why I'mtaught about it. That's true, But
you can use an old sports analogy. We're right at the point of a
long reliever, and I'm concerned.I live in Florida and we've got Russian
(29:23):
ships one hundred miles from my house. I know that. What what percentage
of Americans do you think concerned aboutthat tonight? We had the Russian missile
crisis in nineteen sixty two when wewere young, when President Kennedy, yeah,
a great democratic president, stared downNikita Khrushchev and the world did not
(29:44):
go to nuclear war, but takea president. Kennedy did not say,
Okay, look, let's just letthe ships go through. I don't want
to be involved in any sort ofa chaos. I don't want to be
No. He said, we're gonnaWe're gonna hold the line, and that's
what made him, in my opinion, Yeah, you know, yeah,
he traded off, he removed missilesfrom That's okay. He that was what
(30:06):
needed to be done. I mean, what's the solutions. We could have
had nuclear war and all of uswould have been dead for the last fifteen
years, and get us out ofthis. I'm not well again. You
want to come back, We'll talkplenty of politics between now and November.
I'm trying to keep it away frompolitics that and I'm trying to basically,
(30:26):
I'm failing miserably at it. ButI'm trying to to realize that you or
I might be the person who justmight see this suspicious activity. I said
earlier, you know, someone winPowerball or the Big Lotto next month,
and oh my god, he's fromlearing me Wyoming. You never bought a
(30:48):
ticket in his life, and nowhe's won eight billion dollars. Isn't that
great? Yeah? Right. IfWhitey was alive, white he would go
visit it, Bob. Remember hewon the lottery ticket. Remember that he
one. He stole a lot ofreticults. All right, Ken, I
got to run, Thanks man,Stay dry, Okay, I loved you.
Bye, good night. I'm havingtrouble with folks focusing tonight and what
(31:10):
I guess I'm being unclear and forthat I apologize. Back on Nightside run
after this. Now back to DanRay live from the Window World Nightside Studios
on WBZ News Radio. Okay, let's go to Brenda in Winchester. Hey,
Brenda, help me out here.Brenda, I am speechless, and
(31:33):
that doesn't happen very often. Icannot understand why people. What is it?
They don't understand these people are cominginto our country. Something bad is
going to happen. And now thepeople are coming into this country, they're
(31:56):
buying everything up, They're buying land, they buy all the houses. Why
is it? People don't understand what'shappening? And I sit at my center
and I listen to these people say, isn't the economy great? And I'm
thinking to myself, what is thematter with you people? They're living in
(32:19):
an alternative universe. If they thinkI am listen, I'm old and I
won't have to face a lot.But I have a granddaughter and a son,
three sons. I mean, what'sgoing to happen to these these young
people? I don't know, andI'm very fearful of what's happening in my
(32:42):
country. I can't even walk intomy center and have a place to sit
anymore, And that is the truth. Why is that? Because there are
so many people there. When yousay your you mean your town center or
the or commununity center. That Ia senior center, So why can't you?
(33:05):
Is it over over booked? Oh? Well, there's a lot of
people coming into this country. Thatare they? And if we say anything,
you know we'll be in trouble. Are these people who are living in
your center or who were just theyno, no, no, no,
no, no, they're not immigrants, but they are people who are buying
up houses, okay from other countries, and they've just taken over and we
(33:30):
can't say anything. And we walkin there and we can't even sit down
because there's no place to set Sois this a condominium association you're talking about
or a community? No, it'sit's a senior center. It's you're a
senior center. A senior center isnot attacked, is not attached to like
a living a community no no,no, no, a community community,
(33:55):
senior center okay, okay, andlike that. But aside from that,
I am concerned about the people thatare coming into this country over the border,
and I can't believe when I'm hearingthe people that are calling in they're
not getting it well. Trying tobasically wake people up here and trying to
(34:17):
say, look, you know thedays of turning and averting your eyes and
saying to yourself, you know,I'm a little suspicious of that. But
if I say something, I'm youknow, someone's going to say that I'm
closed minded or I'm xenophobou no,no, no, no, no,
you're not because I think, well, I think it's the older people that
(34:40):
realize and these younger people are closingtheir eyes. Well, I don't know
if they just don't want to theyounger people who I don't want to break
it down the way. I thinkthat there are good people of all backgrounds,
of all yeah, and I justwant to basically, I'm I was
hoping that one person that I wouldcall up and say, guess what,
(35:04):
Dan, I agree with you,and it's time for us to to basically
take back the country. Uh.In one of the ways we can do
it. Uh. You're not goingto go out and fight people in the
street. But one of the waysyou can do is get involved in the
election. Number one and number two. If you do see something a little
strange, a little off, saysomething. Maybe your tip to the police
(35:24):
might stop the next big terrorist attack. Or I'd hate like hack to have
it on your mind that you didn'thave the courage to say something. I
know you would, but I wouldhate like to be the person who didn't
have the courage to say something. You know. Whoever was nothing to lose
to open my mouth, and Idid. And it was said to me,
(35:44):
what do you want me to do? I said, just do something
about it. Call Yeah, Isay, do something, Brenda. I
got to roll here because I gotthree other calls. I'm going to try
to sneak here. Thank you much. You make your points and you made
them well. Thank you very much. Rick and Bill Rick of Rick,
you're next to nice. I goright ahead, Dan, how are you?
I just want to say the worldis just fine. You're worried about
(36:07):
nothing. Let's talk about Taylor Swift'snew rouge lipstick. It's a little lighter
than the one before Tomorrow night.Oh, I got all right, I'll
be fast because you got other callers. All right, So a born behavior
from those kids, those punks inthe New York subway, those xenophobes,
I say, arrest them for eightcrimes. They were anti Semites, is
(36:29):
what they were. They were wayway Oh I'm sorry, I got that.
What what is a xenophobe? Tellme fast, If you're you're a
xenophobe, you're afraid of people whoare different than you. Oh wow,
I'm sorry, I mixed up.I meant to say anti I thought it
was what they were pro Palestinian demonstrators, who really are pro demonstrators because they're
(36:52):
saying we want we we applaud. They had signs that the celebrated October seventh.
Yeah, that's true. I'm I'maware of that. It's deplorable.
It's despicable the people in the country, those eight people from that portion,
not Kazakhs, stand but somewhere elsein a beautiful place to visit. Okay,
(37:14):
all right, Kazakstan, Right, dojikstand a j I stand do stan
It's somewhere in the area of whatwas the Soviet Union. Yes, yes,
yeah, despicable, But I willsay, I know you don't want
to get political, but it isthe left fault. They they but Trump
(37:37):
did the best he possibly could. They stopped making the border wall, and
they've welcomed people and they I'm notdisagreeing with you, but I don't want
to what I'm looking we don't haveto. But you know, what I'm
trying to do tonight is basically basicallyenergize every American, whatever the point of
view. I want Bernie Sanders tokeep his eyes open. I want Joe
(37:58):
Biden to keep his eyes open. And if they see something, I want
Elizabeth Warren to keep your eyes open. And if they see something that's suspicious,
say something. Definitely, No,definitely, definitely not making the point
I think you know, but you'reright, You're right. If your point
is whatever side you're on, who'sever responsible for the damage. It's time
now to UH to do something. But whenever they start killing us, whenever
(38:22):
they start blowing us up, we'reairplanes flying to the World Trade Center,
they don't say, well, what'syour political viewpoint? What what party?
They just kill us because we're Americans. Simple. I want to get one.
I gotta get one more. Noneof that's you get this man,
you too, Bob and Rain andBob next to the nights. I go
(38:43):
right ahead. Hey Dan, I'djust like to say, this isn't a
political thing. This is an Americanthing. Yeah, I said, I
mean this, this is this isour children thing, this is our grandchildren
thing. We owe it to themto give them the same country that we
(39:06):
grew up in. And however thishas happened, and we all have our
different opinions as to how it happened. We have to stop it from happening,
and we have to yeah, endit right now. We have to.
I mean there's a lot of wehave to be alert, we have
to be vigilant. Oh, we'venever seen Jewish kids harassed on campuses before,
(39:30):
ye, and basically having it enabledby the powers to be got it
we have. Yeah, Bob,I hate to touch you off here,
but but we're running out of time. The lesson tonight is we have to
be alert, we have to bevigilant, we have to be courageous,
we have to be willing if wesee something out of line, say something,
because that might prevent the next terroristattack in America and we have to
(39:51):
put political correctness aside for the safetyof everyone. Bob, Thank you much,
thank you very much. Thanks toall the callers, most of the
callers. Thanks to all the assoon as Rob. Great job, Karen,
great job. All dogs, allcats, all pets go to heaven.
