Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's night Side with Dan Way on WBS, Boston's news radio.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Our number two of night Side is now underway. If
you missed the first hour, Douglas the Psychic is here
doing psychic readings and if you would like to have
Douglas answer question or two from you about your current circumstance,
maybe the word future enters into your conversation. That's what
(00:27):
he does and that's what he does best. Next time
I have him on in the fall, he's not going
to be having a conversation about casinos and the games within,
so be on the stand by lookout for that. But
right now we are going to Westborough and speak to Jane. Jane,
would you like would you like a psychic reading by Douglas?
Speaker 3 (00:50):
Ah?
Speaker 4 (00:50):
Sure?
Speaker 1 (00:51):
What?
Speaker 4 (00:51):
Hi Morgan?
Speaker 5 (00:52):
Hi?
Speaker 4 (00:52):
How are you mister psychic? How you doing?
Speaker 6 (00:56):
Douglas?
Speaker 7 (01:00):
Well?
Speaker 4 (01:00):
I just I I only have one question, and you
know the reason why is because I think it takes
up enough time. I mean, it's sure, but I mean
I'm not going to take up someone else's second time
with it. It's to the point and I would like
to definitely hear what you have to say about this.
Speaker 6 (01:17):
Okay, to say, what's the question?
Speaker 4 (01:21):
Well, here we have in our family. We have a
young man in thirty three who's estranged. He's like a
what do you call it, a ghost, a ghoster. He
just ghosts'll, he just vanishes. And we have no idea
why he is so anti soci He's troubled. He does
have a mental issue of some kind. He had pot
(01:43):
at an early age, and he can be very cruel
with others. He doesn't visit he once, you know what.
He has stopped in the past, but he's My husband
went over to visit them the other day just to
say hi, and how he doing. He smerved and slam
the door in my husband's face for no reason. He's very, very,
(02:06):
very nervous. And I'm just trying to figure out what
are we missing here? And I've had people say, do
not send him a note of long, let it go,
let him come out of this on his own. Well,
he'll walk for miles and miles and miles, and we
don't know why, from Oliver, from Worcester all the way
out to about Blackstone for gosh, say, we don't know
(02:28):
what the problem is, but he is. He's definitely uh
got problems and I don't know how to deal with this.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Answer your question.
Speaker 6 (02:41):
Sure, well, the most important thing that cards are saying
about this is he marches to his own beat, as
you know, and that he needs his space. So if he,
as you said, unfortunately slams the door on one of
you people or something like that that you mentioned, so be,
you're not going to change him. He has his own
(03:02):
way of dealing with things, whether it's right or wrong.
I'm not here as a lecture. I'm here to say
he marches to his own beat. He if he feels
like people are asking him too much about his business
and so forth a personal life, that's when he tends
to shut down. So just let him be. Know that,
(03:23):
you know every family is, you know what happened to
go lucky, but he again, just give him his spaith.
Don't he to be feeled good.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
It's just your It's just sure.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
It's strange to have your husband walk up and it's
very nicely say hi, Ajie, I was just wondering, what's
what's your up to? And then have him look at
you give your spirk, slam the door. My husband did nothing.
Speaker 6 (03:52):
I know, well I didn't tell you how that. I
totally get what you're saying, But again, you're asking you
what the cards are saying. The cards are saying, clearly,
he marches to his own beat, and he likes it
that way, and there's nothing you can do to personally
change it.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
Do you think he will show up again? What he does?
If e fact, every six months to a year, he'll
show up, or he'll email me and don could start ghosting.
But do you think it will be long before he
shows up he comes back into our into our sphere?
Speaker 6 (04:23):
Again, the cards are saying, because he's such a random person,
marches to his own beat. The cards on give me
definitive answer on that. So I don't want to mis
lead you one way or the other. But again, the
most important thing out of this conversation is remember, as
you know, he marches to his own beat, So just
let him be. If he feels you're questioning, whether it's
(04:46):
you or anybody else starts questioning him, that's when he
tends to shut down even more. So just let him be.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Everybody nobody questions it, nobody or you know what I'm
trying to say, Just let let him.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Come to you.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
That's that's the best of Yeah, I was going to
write a nice letter saying we love you, we miss you.
You know people they do not do that.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
And I'm going to be one of them. Don't do that.
He knows that there is love in the family for him.
He knows, and if he decides to open his arms,
then respond to his movement towards you. Yeah, he's already proven.
He doesn't want the attention that you want to give him.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
No, but he's mentally he's got mental problems and he
is very sick on pot so that doesn't help at all.
Speaker 6 (05:45):
Yes, yeah, alright, very much. Thank you for the good.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Luck in the future. James line is available. You should
know the phone numbers by now. Let's go to Pembroke
and speak to Eileen. Eileen, welcome to night side.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
Hello, and thank you for taking my car.
Speaker 6 (06:02):
Hello Eleen.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
Hello. My question is I lost my love my boyfriend
three years ago in a motorcycle accident.
Speaker 6 (06:13):
Sorry to get it.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
I just thank you.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
I'm just trying to get over the grief now and
was wondering if the cards had anything saying I'll be
happy again or meet someone's potentially done.
Speaker 6 (06:25):
Okay, well let's see what the cars have to say.
The first thing the cards are telling you is just
still enjoy the fact that you had all this. You
were blessed to have this time with him while he
was on this planet, and he's in a better place now.
But more importantly, the cards, I'm saying, whether you're going
(06:48):
to meet someone or not, it's saying, just live for
the moment right now. Don't overlook things. Don't wonder what
the future is going to happen for you, because it's
showing things as you gonna take. Nature's gonna take its
course with you. It's gonna be better days ahead for you.
And also the cards are saying, it's just to get
(07:09):
out there a little bit more. Don't just you know,
stay in near your little world with blinders on. You
just need to expand your horizon a little and you're
gonna find that it's gonna bring more people into your
world around you, and you're gonna find it very uplifting.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
Okay, thanks, okay, yeah, no, that sounds perfect. I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Thank you, Aileen, Thank you for making the call. Good
night to you.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
Thank you, Aileen.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
Aileen's line is open six five, four ten thirty or
eight eight eight nine, two nine ten thirty. Dial either
of those numbers depending that the eight eight eight is
for the long distance people. And I guarantee you you'll
be the third person to speak with my buddy Douglas.
(07:59):
He's here to give you a psychic reading, yes, for free,
so if you want, and by the way, Douglas, when
we come back, I want to have you give your
number that people can get in touch with you to
coordinate a private event. So now I've told you that
(08:19):
time and temperature year on night Side nine fifteen when
I'm sixty four degrees.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
You're on night Side with Dan Ray on WBZ, Boston's
news radio.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
I'll be on Nightside as well tomorrow and my guests tomorrow.
I have two authors scheduled. Taylor Blackwell is doing a
documentary and I think a book as well on Judy Tanuda.
Remember her in the seventies and eighties. She was a
(08:54):
stand up comic. While she did her jokes, played the accordion.
It was you act, very funny, and I think she
get taken from us much earlier than fate should have intervened.
And that will be from eight to nine, nine to ten, Bill, Jennika,
(09:17):
I hope I pronounced that properly. If you remember the
old Beatle Bailey comic strip. It was around for thirty
to forty years and mort Walker created that and was
the illustrationist. And we'll be speaking about mort Walker with
Bill Jenniica Jennoka tomorrow and then from ten to midnight
(09:43):
we're practically at Baseball's All Star break, and our buddy
Dixie will be here to give the overview of the
twenty twenty five season to this point. That's tomorrow. I
still get more time right now with my buddy Douglas
the Psychic, and I will go to Harry in New
(10:04):
Hampshire to find out his psychic reading by Douglas.
Speaker 8 (10:09):
Hello Harry, Hello Harry, Hi, thanks for taking my call,
my pleasure. I have just two quick questions. Of first one,
I've been dating a woman for almost a year and
I'm curious to find out what the cards says going forward.
Speaker 6 (10:29):
Sure, let me see what the cards say.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
What's her name? By the way, Harry, Thank you, Harry.
And Sheila's an old Ellen Sherman songer was Harvey and Sheila.
Speaker 6 (10:46):
So the first thing the cards are saying is you
two are meant to be. There's a special relationship between
you two. When you hit it off. And the trick
is with her is just take things slowly, these small
steps with her.
Speaker 7 (11:04):
She she's.
Speaker 6 (11:06):
Had her ups and downs as other people have in
the past, and if you go approach her slowly, smaller
steps and so forth, that's going to bring it into
a more of even a higher relationship. If you know
what I'm trying to tell you that makes Does that
make sense? Small steps with her, don't just don't overwhelm
(11:29):
her with too much things at once. And with her,
she also likes to know be explaining things. If you
you know, if you say, he nick, we're going to
next week, let's go to the uh, we're going to
this restaurant and tell her why you think?
Speaker 2 (11:46):
You know?
Speaker 6 (11:46):
I've been there before. It's a nice restaurant. The seafood
is great, and I think you're going to enjoy it
as well. She likes to hear explanations on things too,
and that's going to help keep your relationship going strong
as it is, into a stronger relationship.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Does that make sense, Harry, Yes, it does?
Speaker 6 (12:07):
Yep.
Speaker 8 (12:07):
Okay. The other question was when do you see me retiring?
Do you see next year or possibly the year after?
Speaker 6 (12:16):
Sure, let's see what the cards. The kids are saying
that you don't you want to do your research and
don't just jump into it. You like to analyze things
and so forth, and that's your advantage. So just really
(12:36):
get a fine tune what you want our life and
your decision on that. That's something the cards are not
going to make for you. But the kids are also
saying you just keep doing your research and you're going
to know what is the better year for you.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
In other words, don't retire tomorrow.
Speaker 6 (12:56):
Yep.
Speaker 8 (12:58):
Okay, all right, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 6 (13:01):
Great.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Let's try to get one more one before the news
break Una and get him Hello, Una.
Speaker 6 (13:09):
Hello, Una, Hi Douglas.
Speaker 4 (13:11):
How are you?
Speaker 6 (13:12):
I'm doing great.
Speaker 4 (13:14):
I just have a probably two questions.
Speaker 9 (13:17):
I just retired and I just wanted to know what
should I like to want to do something?
Speaker 8 (13:22):
But I don't know.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
I just want to know about the cards to see
for me so to do like meeting people and just
getting out there again.
Speaker 6 (13:31):
Okay, Well, the cards are saying what you need to
do is just don't overthink things. Just start getting out
there more. Meaning if you see something, you're you're seeing
that on the newspaper, if you read the newspaper or
online or whatever saying there's a art show in get
him or or something like that. Go with an open mind,
(13:54):
but also have a backup plan. So you say, you
know what, I need to go out and meet people.
I'm gonna go to this art show. I might be
there two hours or it might be there twenty minutes
if I don't like it, but if have a backup
so you'll say to yourself, if I don't like this
art show and I'm not wasting I don't want to
feel like I've wasted my time, I'm out. I'm going
(14:15):
to go to this other place and do something there.
Always have a little backup plan. But that's the key
is to get out there and explore things. It's showing
there's lots of things for you to do, and also
consider volunteering work too that that'll come back to your tenfolds.
So just open mind to things and be open. But
(14:37):
most importantly is don't overthink it. If you see something
that might spock your interests, say I'm gonna go check
this out. I'm gonna go there. There's gonna be people there,
and that's how things evolve. Makes sense, Okay, yes it does.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
And you see travel like travel and anything else like that.
Speaker 6 (14:56):
For sure, Let's see what this card say as far
as travel goes, the next year will be more conducive
for you to travel, Not this year. I'd say, wait
till next year, but stop making plans for next year.
And whether it's a giant adventure across the ocean or
(15:20):
just the next state over, you're going to enjoy and
it's going to be good for you to get out
there and take this this adventure. So but the following year,
the next up and coming year, is a better year
for you to make this little adventure of travel. Okay, okay, all.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
Right, well I already made fans for this year? Is
that go to best?
Speaker 6 (15:41):
I'm saying showing if you're fine for this year, but
I'm saying stop making plans for next year too.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
Okay. So travel is good for the next couple of years, and.
Speaker 6 (15:52):
Especially next year is when you want to stop planning them,
because it's saying you want to keep busy and you
want to do things travel this year, but you really
want to stop planning now for next year.
Speaker 7 (16:03):
Okay, all right, that sounds good.
Speaker 8 (16:05):
Thank you very much, Douglas Own, Thanks you, welcome, bye bye,
thank you.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
Ok and one line. UNA's line is open now she's
not on it anymore. Six one, seven, two, five four
ten thirty or eight eight eight nine to nine ten thirty.
And Douglas, I promised you an opportunity to tell people
how they can get personally in touch with you, either
for reading or to acquire you for a private party.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
What have you sure?
Speaker 6 (16:30):
The best way is to call seven eight one, eight
oh one, seven two nine six again at number seven
eight one, eight oh one, seven two nine six, And
I can do in person readings or I do readings
via the phone all across America and in Canada. And
(16:53):
they said, if you have an event or something you need,
a private party or a store event or something you
want to just call me. We'll work together. And please
mention that you heard me on this show so I
can give you a little additional discount as a favor
for the BEZ listeners out there.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
And the show is called Nightside. Dan Ray normally is
the host, but he's on vacation. He'll be back on Monday.
But Nightside is all you have to remember. And I'm
at the point where I'm gonna be taking a news
hitting a couple of commercials in about ninety seconds, so
I'm not gonna take another call. But Vicky in North Carolina,
(17:36):
you will be next. As soon as we come back
from the news, You'll be the first person. After Vicky,
you'll be Pat and Natick and then Heather in Arlington.
And believe me, there's still time for you to get
on as the evening progresses. Don't give up, o don
(17:57):
I'm not gonna get a chance. Yes you will, because
after I wave goodbye to VICKI, there'll be a line
just for you here on night Side.
Speaker 6 (18:06):
You'll have the possibly can.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
And we'll move. And as you can tell, we've moved
rather rapidly tonight, one or two questions per person, and
that means I get to take my break now. Time
and temperature here on night Side Hurd only on WBZ
News Radio ten thirty nine, twenty nine sixty four degrees.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
It's night Side with Boston's news Radio.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
Dan is off tonight. He will be back on Monday
eight o'clock to do night Side and let's go to
North Carolina. Vicky, welcome to night Side.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
Sorry we are you guys doing this tonight. I'm gonna
be real brief.
Speaker 7 (18:55):
And I'm gonna hang up.
Speaker 6 (18:58):
Sure, Hello, Vicky, I Doug, Okay, I want to questions
for her.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
I've been single for her, I'm a widow and I've
been single for some time.
Speaker 5 (19:09):
Morning.
Speaker 4 (19:10):
If there's no for me for someone?
Speaker 3 (19:13):
And the second question is am I traveling this year?
Speaker 6 (19:18):
Sure? Well, okay. As far as the first question goes,
there is somebody in your life that's going to be
coming back into your life from you've already known. You're
going to kind of rekindle the spirit with somebody, So
keep that in mind going forward. If you if you
(19:39):
have people you want to reach out to in the
past that you've had a deep friendship with or whatnot,
are there's going to be someone coming into your life
that already knows you, but it's going to be there
will be someone coming into your life, but it's going
to be someone you've already known, So please keep that
in mind. And as far as the second question goes,
(20:02):
let me see here the second question was you wanted
to know on Let's see what the courage are saying. Travel? Yeah,
travel would be good for you. This fall fall is
a good time you're gonna it's showing you it's going
(20:24):
to be later part of the fall, you're gonna travel
and you're going to enjoy it. And it's also saying
you're going to Just the main thing is I don't
do health questions, but for you personally, for travel, it's
showing you need to just pace yourself. Don't get when
you get tired during the day, take rests or little
(20:47):
breaks or whatever. Just make sure you don't over exert
yourself on this trips. Okay, okay, thank you, good night
to you.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
Let's go, Pat in need, Pat, welcome to night Side.
Speaker 7 (21:07):
Thank you for taking my call. I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
Thank you for making it.
Speaker 7 (21:12):
This is my first time call. I'm a little nervous.
Speaker 6 (21:16):
Okay, you fine, You're doing fine so.
Speaker 7 (21:19):
Far, and I'm wanna ask Douglas.
Speaker 5 (21:22):
Uh.
Speaker 7 (21:23):
The end of last year, I'm in my eighties, so
I'm no spring chicken. But at the end of last year,
I took a nice toss and I tore my roller cuff. Yes,
and I had trouble before walking with my legs anyway.
(21:44):
To begin with, I use the cane to get around,
especially to get to the casinos. And I've been going
to physical therapy since the first of the year, and
I'm making some progress. But I was just wondering, how
does it look. I've made about fifty progress. I can't
(22:04):
raise them, you know, to wash my hair, but I
can brush my teeth and everything well, and I'm hoping
I don't have to have an operation.
Speaker 6 (22:14):
On the but it will look like well, let me
let me stop you there. As far as this point,
as I mentioned, I don't know if you tuned in
at the beginning. I don't do health questions, and I'm
an advocate. As I said in the beginning, if you
have a health question, you need to go to a doctor.
There are some psych said do health questions. I do not,
(22:37):
And again I feel health questions should be related to
the position to doctors. And so with that in mind,
you have another question you'd like to ask me?
Speaker 7 (22:47):
Dear, No, that was the main That was the main.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
Pat, May I make a suggestion to you? Sure when
you go to I don't care what casino, the ones
in our area here in New England or Atlantic City,
or maybe you go to Vegas, all of them are
for you. Those little scooters like you see in the supermarket,
(23:15):
people riding around in those scooters. I would investigate if
I were you, because you say you have some issues walking.
Let's remove that one issue if you can't. Let and
they do it courtesy. Most of them just say go
(23:39):
to this part of the casino and show your license
or show your library card whatever, and they and they
want you to be in something that's secure to move
you from point A to point B. So research that
and see if you can get one of those little
(24:01):
little carts.
Speaker 8 (24:03):
Okay, Douglas, that's.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Well, I'm morgin. But either way, Douglas and I are
comfortable in casinos, and Douglas knows that casinos offer that person.
Speaker 6 (24:17):
You see everyone's zipping around beeping their little horns and
proving cutting people off and all of my stuff associated.
Speaker 7 (24:24):
We've been into everybody.
Speaker 6 (24:28):
Here and have a good time. And I wish you
the best of health. Okay, thank you, patank you so much.
Speaker 7 (24:33):
Morgan. Yes, dear, I hope you do that show on
casinos because this is my first time call, but brave me,
it won't be my last.
Speaker 4 (24:43):
If you do the casino call, I'll tell you when
we're going to do it.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
I'll tell you right now, the month of September. My
birthday is in September, and I want that as my
birthday gift to the besy audience.
Speaker 6 (24:55):
Wonderful bank from Mohegan Sun or one of tho places.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
I've got the equipment to do that.
Speaker 10 (25:03):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
Bye bye. Okay, let's have time. Yeah, I have time.
Let me go to Arlington and speak to Heather. I've
always liked that.
Speaker 5 (25:15):
Hi.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
How are you, Hi, Heather, I've always loved your name. Oh,
thank you, You're welcome.
Speaker 6 (25:22):
Hello Heather.
Speaker 4 (25:24):
Hi, how are you, Douglas.
Speaker 6 (25:26):
I'm doing great. Thank you for asking.
Speaker 9 (25:29):
So I was just one question and I started a
business and just if you had anything in the cards,
if it'll pick up.
Speaker 6 (25:39):
Sure, Well. The first thing the cards are showing on
the business right away is it's going to get busier
in the next few months. It's not gonna business is
not going to be overflowing right away. You're just going
to give it some time and make sure you keep
it open mind on different ways that bring people into
(26:03):
your establishment, whether it's online or in a retail store,
whatever the case may be. You need to make sure
you have a reason for people to go to your business.
But again, just don't spread over the next month of
July and August, things are really going to start being
(26:23):
more conducive and picking up in the fall, especially October
number ten is showing up on the carriage for you.
It's going to be the more conducive months for the business. Okay, awesome,
thank you.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
Does that help you welcome?
Speaker 4 (26:38):
Yeah, it does, it does.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
And I got a quick question for you, Heather. Yeah, sure,
you know how Charlie Brown has a crush on the
little redheaded girl. Yes, her name is Heather.
Speaker 9 (26:53):
Really, I wouldn't lie to you, I dee.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
No, No, definitely not. That would be that would be
ice and fire. But the little redheaded Girl's name is Heather.
Speaker 9 (27:08):
Oh I didn't know that. But you know who I
did love with, Judy Tonudo when you mentioned her earlier.
That's actually what made me tune into you today when
you were talking about her.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
Well, I'm going to be speaking about her tomorrow during
the eight o'clock hour.
Speaker 9 (27:21):
Oh okay.
Speaker 6 (27:22):
I will add too that she was so funny. She
was a great comedian. Yep. I remember sitting on that
stage with the hair up, with the ear rings and
so forth. It was quite the character.
Speaker 3 (27:33):
She was.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
All right, Heather, good luck with your business, Bye bye,
thank you bye. Whoever takes Heather's line I guarantee you'll
get a chance to have a psychic reading by Douglas.
I guarantee that that will be most likely the last
call that we will take, and that will depend on
(27:55):
both Margaret and Pearl. So Rob, I'm going to tell you,
let's I break a minute or two early, and I'll
give the phone number six one, seven, two, five, fourteen
thirty eight, eight eight, nine to nine, ten thirty if
you want to speak with Douglas the psychic too late.
Stones already taken that line. Time and temperature nine forty
(28:18):
three sixty four degrees.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
It's Night Side with Dan Ray on WBS Boston's news radio.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
All right, let's go to Stoughton, Mass and speak to Margaret. Margaret.
Good evening, Good.
Speaker 4 (28:34):
Evening, Hello Morgan and Douglas.
Speaker 2 (28:36):
Hello Margallo.
Speaker 4 (28:38):
Hi, I just have two questions quickly.
Speaker 10 (28:43):
Will either of my two daughters get married anytime soon?
And I'm warning should I downsize my house?
Speaker 6 (28:51):
Sure? What are your daughter's names?
Speaker 3 (28:55):
Maren Caitlin?
Speaker 9 (28:57):
Okay, thank you.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
One second, you've got to you've got two daughters. That means,
you know, you might have to wind up paying for
two weddings.
Speaker 6 (29:12):
I know, showing uh Caitlyn is going to be the
first to be married. So Caitlin's the is in the lead.
They both have a very nice personality, but she's she's
(29:33):
the more of the go gether and she knows what
she wants out of life as far as relationship goes
and so forth, So she's going to be the one
that makes sense. Good, thank you. And as far as
downsizing goes, you mean like moving or just cleaning out
(29:54):
the the house moving, well, well, the first thing, the
cards are showing it's going to be a lot of work,
so keep that in mind. But you got to think
of the long term outcome. It'll be easier for you,
(30:14):
not only obviously to maintain, but it'll be easier for
you to just enjoy. It'll be like a new start
by by downsizing, it'll be like a new beginning for
you and that'll be very refreshing. You'll you'll enjoy it.
Speaker 10 (30:29):
So the answer is yes, okay, terrific.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
How long have you lived in Stoughton, Margaret, Oh, thirty
three years?
Speaker 6 (30:40):
Well, I'll have to see over towns by look for
me is I'm always our.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
Towns and Margaret, I'm sure you never stepped foot into
the establishment Alex's. But I know I DJ there for
seven years.
Speaker 6 (30:57):
Did you know that, Morgan?
Speaker 2 (30:58):
Wow eighty six? I understand. Take care Margaret and Douglas.
One day you and I have to do lunch and
trade war stories.
Speaker 6 (31:12):
Yes there are stories, and they will go meet at
maybe Plaine Ridge and have a nice lunch and take
it from there.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
And playing Ridge would be a good place for both
of us to show up. Sure out out my front
door to walking out of my car the second floor
garage thirty five minutes under normal circumstances brought.
Speaker 6 (31:36):
To probably I get to beat probably about five minutes,
let's say thirty minutes from me.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
So oh, there you go.
Speaker 6 (31:43):
Alan. Then we just playing our casino night for this fall,
and you will probably be broadcasting live from Malhegan Sun
amongst all the celebrities and party hired for your birthday
and it'll be fun.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Let's plan that one day. Let's go to Roxbury and
take Pearl Pearl to thank you for calling.
Speaker 10 (32:05):
Hello. My name is Pearl, Hello Pearl. I definitely so
glad they talked to you.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
I heard.
Speaker 10 (32:16):
I have never heard a streaker before, and I would
love to talk to you and ask you. I want
to move and I want to move into another city
with after children, and could you could you tell me
(32:37):
how you would see me with that? Okay, my life.
Speaker 2 (32:43):
Douglas check the cards, but before he gives you an answer,
where in Roxbury do you live?
Speaker 10 (32:50):
I lived in Roxbury Red near Dudley Station. Okay, the
smith House? Have you ever heard of the smith House?
Speaker 3 (32:58):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (32:58):
They have, and I used to in the cab on
the floor. I used to live in academy homes near
Regilson Station.
Speaker 10 (33:06):
Oh you didn't. My sister used to live there, My
older sister. Her name was Berta Curry.
Speaker 4 (33:13):
Did you know that?
Speaker 6 (33:15):
No?
Speaker 2 (33:15):
I did not. I did not know the Curry family. Okay,
all right, Well let's see what Douglas has to say
about you moving.
Speaker 6 (33:22):
Well, what cars are saying you need to be near
your family. Dear, you don't want to take any extremes
that you're going to be more isolated. You need to
keep your place near your family. The cards are telling
me to repeat that to you. Nothing wrong with moving,
but you just need to be within reach of your family.
(33:46):
It's going to be important for you and mostly important
for them as well. Everything will work out together if
you people stay close together.
Speaker 10 (33:54):
Does that make sense to you, Yes, that they seemed
to like. Well on myself now and I want to
get away and experience to make your new friends. My
husband died and I wanted to kind of get away
and try to make new friends and let them kind
(34:18):
of live their lives because we just so close together,
me and not children.
Speaker 6 (34:24):
Right, Well, I said, that's what I said at the beginning,
and that's a good thing. So don't don't, please don't
just overlook that. Again, the cards are saying you should
be near your family and you can still meet people
and find friends, et cetera. Where you are just going
to look a little bit harder and get out of
(34:45):
your comfort zone a little bit more. But again, you're
asking me the question. I'm telling you what the cards
are saying. You need this to kind of stick near
your family. Okay, okay, okay, thank you, thank you for
the call, thank you for good night. Be safe.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
Now let me tell people I've got no rob no more,
no more calls for this. They want to call for
next hourist guest ed Robertson, fine, but no more calls
for Douglas. I've got literally four minutes and two people
to try to get on Barbara in Westport. Never wait,
(35:23):
let's push your button.
Speaker 4 (35:24):
There you go, Hello Barbara, hu Hi, thank you for
taking my call.
Speaker 6 (35:29):
Hello Barbara.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
What are your two questions?
Speaker 5 (35:33):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (35:33):
One, have one question?
Speaker 5 (35:35):
Really, my son opened a restaurant in May of twenty
twenty four. I have been working for him a couple
of nights a week, and I want to know the
future of his restaurant.
Speaker 4 (35:47):
Well it's a success or No, what a good mom
you are?
Speaker 6 (35:51):
Ye? I try. And the cards are also saying on
that note, saying you like helping people in general. Let's
like you find it very wide, whether it's your son
or anybody else that you come across. If you can
help people, you will. Is that correct?
Speaker 9 (36:10):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (36:10):
It is?
Speaker 7 (36:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (36:11):
Good, That's what I'm getting on you. It's a good, good,
good feeling. I thank you for doing that for your
son and other people. It's showing the restaurant is going
to continue. The restaurant's not going to be closing. It's
going to be a good restaurant, a well liked restaurant.
Just give it some keep giving the time. It's it's
(36:35):
not going anywhere. Is it going to close? No, So
just keep helping him.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
If you can what type of menu?
Speaker 6 (36:42):
Do?
Speaker 2 (36:42):
What type of menu?
Speaker 5 (36:45):
It's modern American small plate social dining is a fantastic shock.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
Where is it? And what's its name?
Speaker 5 (36:54):
Its name is Romeos and it's in Falmouth on the Cape.
Speaker 2 (36:59):
Okay, I know Belmouth well, and I wish.
Speaker 5 (37:03):
It's driving home from there.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
Now, well, you drive carefully being on the phone, and everybody,
if you're in Falmouth, check out Romeos. See you got
a free plug.
Speaker 9 (37:16):
Incredible.
Speaker 2 (37:17):
Take care Barbara, Bye bye. I got like ninety seconds
to take PEG from newbury Port Peg. Give us a
question real quick.
Speaker 4 (37:28):
Hi, pay my question, brou Hello Douglas. You may not
want to answer this, but I work for Harvard and
I want to know.
Speaker 11 (37:37):
Can you tell me are we going to get out
of this mess with the president?
Speaker 2 (37:41):
Oh? I can answer that without cards. No, I can
answer that question without cards. President Trump has an end
for Harvard University, and you know, you know Harvard slogan
fight fiercely Harvard, that's the slogan. They're going to have
to fight fiercely and hope that the next in the
(38:02):
administration re versus some of the things that President Trump
has done to them. Now, Douglas answer her question. From
the cards perspective.
Speaker 6 (38:15):
Well, for the first perspective, we really don't want to
get into politics per se. But things are going to
wash out in the end. Just just let things take
its course and it'll work out.
Speaker 11 (38:30):
Give it about three plus years, and my gut, I
feel like it is going to work out, but it's
just going to be like falling into a great, big partole.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
Well, give it about three years. That's my best advice. Packed.
Thank you for the call. Good luck, good luck, Douglas.
Thank you, and you and I will get together and
I'm going to have you back sometime either the second
or third Saturday to talk casinos.
Speaker 6 (39:00):
I'd love to come on and we'll talk casinos and
we'll celebrate your birthday in one big even It'll be
a wild time.
Speaker 2 (39:08):
Douglas. Thank you, and thank you for filling up my
phone lines for two straight hours. You take care now.
Speaker 6 (39:14):
Yeah, and we're welcome.
Speaker 2 (39:15):
Good night, everybody, Bye bye, all right, time and temperature.
Ed Robertson will be my guests for the next two hours.
I'll tell you who he is if you don't know,
but he has written, oh my goodness, six or seven
books about TV classic TV time nine point fifty eight
