But they know the Podokasaurus, holy O Kansas, or state
dinosaur or dozens say Massachusetts.

I think people would be confused by that.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
I mean, it's not very serious flag, is it. You know,
it makes a joke I think of the state.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Maybe that's why a state commission chose not to select
the fossil to grace the commonwealth's new flag, nor dozens
of other submissions, which include surfboard riding, seals, north shore
style beefs, or animals such as puppies and lobsters.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
You leave it that wide open, you're going to get
some really wacky ideas.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Those ideas have been whittled down from more than a
thousand to just a few dozen to be further discussed
in Streamlined That a meeting come Thursday. Do you think
it's cool that that many people got invested in?

Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
I think it is. It makes people interested in the
state flag and learn about it.
