You could tell from what the councilors had to say
about the shootings on Revere Beach over a Memorial Day
weekend that they wented some answers. This is Revera City
Councillor Jerry VISCONTI.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Go out there and you talk to some of the residents.
They don't want to travel to Revere Beach, and I
don't blame them. It's pretty scary.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
He and other councilors asked Police Chief David Callahan if
there was a plan to deal with this sort of thing,
and the chief reminded them that Revere Beach is state
police jurisdiction.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
We assist them, but we absolutely don't have the resources
to control that area that they have.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
Everybody agree there has to be improved communication from all
law enforcement in the area because the summer is just
