An Evening With The Fish At The New England Aquarium

When the sun goes down, some animals at the New England Aquarium comes out. Adult guests have a chance to see them this weekend.

The kids gotta sit this one out. It's an event
for the adults.

We are inviting guests to come experience the aquarium after hours.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
The New England Aquarium is hosting an Aquarium after Dark
event Saturday night. When the sun goes down, the aquarium
lights will dim and some animals that call the aquarium
home will make their debut. This is Chelsea San Martino,
the associate director of Marketing and Promotions at the New
England Aquarium.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
If things align, our guest may be able to see Siri,
our nurse shark, who lives in the Giant Ocean Tank,
as well as potentially Thomas R. Green More eel who
lives in the Giant Ocean Tank.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
There's also food, aquatic themed cocktails, and opportunities to learn
more about the aquarium's conservation work and animal care. Chelsea
tells me they wanted to test out how many adults
would be into this sort of thing, and it turns
out there's a lot of interest, so much so that
it's already sold out. But now that they know the
demand is there, so we're going to.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Be taking that into consideration for our future aquarium events.
But this was probably the first of many opportunities like
this in Boston.
