Apple Picking Is Already Happening At One Peabody Farm

At pvd's Brooksby Farm, you can already get a jump
start on apple picking season, gearing up.

For our fall harvest. The farm store is open as well.
Great now we have Jerseymac available and summer Granny.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
More on the way in just a matter of weeks.
But getting these trees ready to go takes months.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Well, it's an all year process. I mean we start
in the winter with our pruning and then we go
into apple blossom in May, taking care of the apple
trees right through the summer, and then we're into harvest
for September October.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
There's another favorite here at the farm besides the apples.
It's Pierre, an emo that draws crowds of his own.

Does he have a favorite type of apple he likes
during the apple picking season.

Apple's not so much. But you know, he is a bird,
so he just pecks on things go.
