I found Maxine hanging out near the water at Good
Harbor Beach. Paul, Sarah and their three kids are also here,
lugging beach chairs, boogie boards and all the beach day classics.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
Big plan for the day is yup, getting in the
water as much as possible and soaking up the sunspike.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
The haul and the heat. They're in great spirits because
they're celebrated our.
Speaker 4 (00:19):
Oldest daughter's eleventh birthday and it's a tradition to come
here to Good Harbor Beach, so we're very fortunate and
thankful for a beautiful weather day.

They drove here from Natick and don't mind paying a
little extra at a park this year. Most other people
I talk to also travel to get here, like Dan
from Greenfield.
Speaker 5 (00:33):
We drove about forty minutes today but from home or
about two and a half hours, so about two and
a half hour drive.
Speaker 6 (00:40):
Hundred miles one hundred miles to get to the beach.
And that's the key to beat in the heat.
