Bay Staters Prepare For Summer Electric Bills As Energy Costs Continue To Rise

six hundred bucks a month.

They're not all that jazzed up about summer if it
ever gets here.

Based on their electric bills.

Speaker 6 (00:13):
Electric prices are just out of control.

And that's a lot more than you'd spend any previous years.

Oh.

Absolutely.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
Rates have risen in the Commonwealth over the last couple
of years and rank right up there is the most
expensive in the nation.

The electric rates a horrible They just keep going up
and up and up.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Yeah, there are ways to save, but tell them that
when it's ninety five degrees and muggy and the AC's
on the other side of the room just calling their name.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Yeah, it's not good. It hurts the pocket, you know.
But it's all you can really do, you know.
