Dare Dennis Roach is the superintendent of trash Reduction.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
We have cold enforcement out there all weekend and throughout
the year enforcing these rules and regulations about when trash
is put out.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Mayor Woo says the city has begun installing ratproof trash
cans and reminds people you can't just dump your mattress
on the street.

We made it easier to dispose of your mattress with
free curbside pickup for mattress recycling. And this year we
launched our furniture pickup pilot, so earlier in the week,
our partners at Household Goods collected more than fifty pieces
of furniture that will find new homes.

And Jessica Thomas says Inspectional Services will deploy sixty staff
members throughout the week.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
These teams will distribute flyers in bro shores, conduct on
the spot inspection in Austin.
