Boston Rodeo Takes Over City Hall Plaza

City Hall Plaza looking like a scene from the Wild West.
This weekend, horses, cows, cowboys, and cowgirls in town for
Boston's first ever outdoor rodeo.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
And we're shipping in twenty two semi trucks worth of dirt,
building an arena and taking it down all within twenty
four hours. Once the rodeo is done, we're gonna ship
the animals out, take down the pen, and have a
full headlining music festival.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Eddie McHugh, one of the rodeo organizers, says, there's something
for everyone looking for the flavor of the Old West.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
It's bull riding, it's horses, it's people, last sewing, it's everything.
It's a barrel racing versus just PBR, which is just
bull riding. We're a more holistic rodeo.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Add to the rodeo a country Western music fest and
City Hall Plaza has the field of Home on the Range.
