this green thumbed group a bunch of gorilla gardeners.

That provides free planting supplies to anybody who needs them
and transforms underutilized spaces into food gardens.

They started shortly after the pandemic hit and everything closed down.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
A lot of neighbors noticed that the planters and windowsill
areas of the neighboring restaurants were going away. They were
dying because there was nobody there to take care of
the plants during the pandemic shutdowns.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
And so the neighbors took care of the plants and
created their own little community of growers, which continues to
