Car Enthusiasts Gather To Raise Money For First-Generation College Students

I used to think I turned heads driving around at
a news car, but I've got nothing on the cars.
At the fifteenth annual Concorde Elegance that Endicott's Missile would manner,
Sam is here from Lynnfield to his award winning nineteen
thirty one Ford Model, a two door coup that he's
owned for over forty years. He says he loves taking
it to shows and out for ice cream to get
people's reaction.

If you're over sixty five, you know someone who rode
in the rumble seat and enjoyed the car. I can't
believe how you maintain and keep it running. The young
kids say, what are those things on the door? They
don't know what a crank window is. To crank the
window up and down.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
The event helps benefit Endicott's Inspire Scholarship that helps first
generation students pay for their education. Acting president Brian Kaine
says the show not only helps raise funds for students,
that offers educational opportunities as well.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
If you think about car shows as a whole, right,
there is great art here and we have a school
of Visual and performing arts in the design both and
the interior and the exterior of carrs in their original nature,
but also on restoring them. I think he is truly
an art form
