Cider Hill Farm In Amesbury Holds Week-Long Pollinator Festival

It's the fifth year for Cider Hill Farms week long
Pollinator Festival. Jennifer Durocher is a co owner of the
sprawling one hundred and forty five acre farm in Amesbury.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
It's kind of a moment for us as farmers to
take a pause and remember that, you know, we are
only as good as our pollinators. It's also a great
opportunity to educate our community.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
There are activities for all ages.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
We have a story time where they are reading a
pollinator themed book. We've got some local makers coming in
to share their creations, some food vendors, also some musicians.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
There are free tastings for the adults.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
A honey tasting, a hard cider tasting, and the jam tasting.
If we have strawberry picking going on, they're more than
welcome to take part in that. And we also have
our barnyard area, so for the little ones, it's definitely
plenty to do and see
