Colleges Of The Fenway Mascots Meet To Kick Off The School Year

The five colleges of the Fenway, Simmons Wentworth, Immanuel, Mass
College of Art and Design, in the College of Pharmacy
and Health Sciences, all have their own mascots, and to
kick off the school year, those mascots paraded across a
little park in the Fens. Leela, a student at the
College of Art and Design, was one of the spectators.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
I think it's wonderful. I do theater with a lot
of the other colleges in the Colleges of the Fenway.
I'm cohort, so I think that the more companionship the better.
There are so many resources and so many awesome people
at these other schools. So I think if our mascots
can be friends, then we should be too.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
And that's basically the message from this unusual gathering of
a huge mastodon, a cardinal, a Saint Bernard, a shark
and a leopard and a little park in the Fens.
