Drought Declared In Several Regions In Massachusetts

The concept never really occurred.

To him because we had such a rainy spring.

And much of the Commonwealth got doused with rain last weekend.
But we are in fact in a drought which has
reached significant status according to state officials. Makes sense to
him upon second thought.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Yeah, I fish a lot, but go down the Cape
the lakes, they're three to five feet lower than.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
They usually are.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
What about your lawn.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
I haven't had the mot the lawn much, maybe a
couple times all summer.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
I have not molded my lawn in three weeks.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Like it's just not growing. It does seem like we
got a lot of rain this year, but.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Not last month, and that's a key contributor to these
dry conditions, which you have state officials warning about the
potential risk of wildfires.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
It stinks when you hear that we need the rain.
