Feeding Families On Thanksgiving Could Be Cheaper

Well, if you're hosting Thanksgiving for yourself for other people,
you know you want to go all out. Does its
turkey too? Eat so good? Oh yeah? And the other
good stuff too, like potatoes and stuffing, vegetables, yams, whatever
you want to bring to the table. It is going
to add up a little bit. But this year a
turkey dinner is not going to gobble up your cash
as much as you might have thought. The American Farm

Bureau says the average cost of putting on a dinner
for ten people, we're talking turkey, the side's dessert, it's
gonna be about fifty five bucks and change. You do
the math, it's about five point fifty a person. Even
though grocery stores right now are not the cheapest places
to be. They say this is the third year in
a row of price declines for that Thanksgiving Day dinner.
The group does say that price varies by region, of course,

but it's going to come nowhere near the record setting
price tag of sixty four bucks three years ago. Nicole
