Fenway Alliance Holds Boston's 2025 'Opening Our Doors Festival'

Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's a free day of fun for the Opening our
Doors festival, with lots of music, dancing, poetry and art
on display. Co executive director of the Fenway Alliance Kelly
Brilliant says it's bigger and better than what she ever
expected years ago.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
We started with about twelve institutions who opened their doors
to the public twenty four years ago. We now include
twenty community partners.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
One of those partners is the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra,
who had a quintet perform at the kickoff ceremony. Angie
was on the violin.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
I honestly, it was a little scary because there's like
a lot of important people here. But it's also really
fun because we've practiced a lot.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
But what Byso couldn't practice for was a duet with
Boston Mayor Michelle Wou who jumped on the keys after
the kickoff came to a close.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
Boston, there's so many opportunities is to run into people
and have an impromptu jam session just about anywhere in
the city.
