Fireworks Already Heard Ahead Of Memorial Day Weekend In Plymouth, Mass.

Memorial Day weekend is right around the corner, so it's
not surprising we're starting to hear these sounds into the
nighttime sky. Fireworks hurt last night in Plymouth, and it's
time for the annual reminder.

They're illegal for a reason. They're illegal because they're dangerous.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Police lives in manament with that all important note that
fireworks are illegal in Massachusetts, but there's plenty who skate
that law every summer.

That doesn't surprise me at all.

Diane's from North Plymouth, saying it's not if, but rather
when people will start lighting them off.

Because I think it's bound to happen.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Cities and towns across the state are gearing up for
their warnings to leave fireworks up to the pros. And
while it's a bit early, it's also not surprising to
hear them with the holiday weekend fast approache.

So you gotta use some you gotta use some some
safety and some common sense on that, I think in Plymouth.
