Former Boston Mayor Marty Walsh says it's crucial today's students
understand what happened in the terror attacks on nine to eleven.

Every kid that was, every young personal here today was
not born.

Students from local schools got the chance to ask questions
like how this changed the country and how victim's families
dealt with the loss.

Having an understanding of what happened on nine to eleven,
that we were America was attacked, we were brought into
this war, if you will, or its conflict in the
Middle East in other parts of the world, I understand
the issues really.

Import Megan is a Faupont Academy student that appreciated learning
about the history.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
I really just found it so meaningful. The hero of
the names, especially in all of the personal connections. It
really just reminds you that these people.

Are not statistics. Everyone has something to go home soon.
And it was such a maybe powsid and so.
