Surviving to Thriving is a half day retreat for breast
cancer survivors that's going to be on Friday, October twenty
fourth at the Yoga Loft in Marblehead. It's an opportunity
for mindful movement, meditation, discussion. Zoe Coulbertson, who runs Seaside
Family Acupuncture in Marblehead, is a breast cancer survivor. She
came up with the idea.

This is an opportunity to make some community and feel
like you're not alone and there is a gap in
care once you've gone through all the active treatment and
you're just a cancer survivor. You'll always be a cancer survivor.
But what does that really mean and how do you
hold that and how do you hold that in community?

That's part of what they'll talk about it this free
retreat which will be run by Zoe and two other
breast cancer survivors, a physical therapist who is also a
yoga instructor, and a social worker Carl Stevens WBZ, Boston's
