Getting people to hang out outside in the cold this
time of year can be a hard cell, but not
when you've got this much fire. The Frozen Fire Festival
is making its debut at the Anchor in Charlestown this
year after three years in Salem. There are plenty of
places to thaw out here, ranging from fire pits to
fire shows and even some massive insulated iglooes.

They're all heated, very very warm. We've got plenty of
cozy blankets inside.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
That's Shelby Elwell, the general manager at the Anchor. She says,
what sets this apart from other winter festivals in town
or the shows with fire dancers and performers, including one
who shoots flaming arrows with her feet.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
We actually have a couple here from Hawaii and then
all the way from London as well. So Arisa Kelly
is our headliner. She'll be joining us here on Sunday night.
She has been kind of our marquee performer from the
very beginning, so we're really excited to have her back.

They also have shopping, food and drinks and curling from Charlestown.
