Speaker 1 (00:00):
For twenty years. Documentary photographer Bill Chapman visited an old
baseball field, Rick Wood Field, in Birmingham, Alabama. That's where
he photographed over time surviving players from Negro League baseball.
The pictures he took are on display at the Cambridge
Multicultural Arts Center, where Najie Brown is the lead curator.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Like a lot of things in Black history and American history,
it was written over and forgotten about, and it's important
to not only remember the time, but also the individuals
that were a part of that time and how special
they made it.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
The exhibit is called the Gospel of the Negro Leagues
and will be on display through the end of this month.
