Greenheads Invade Beaches Across Massachusetts

Just swatting them around in the booth. We get about
fifty a day.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Lucas Almado is the winger Cheek Beach supervisor, and greenhead
flies bombarding his booth certainly isn't a perk of the job.
He says, it's been a rough last couple of weeks
and this isn't his first greenhead rodeo.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
They're pretty bad right now and comparative to the last
few years. I mean, it's gond Wars this year.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Lucas Howett also man's the booth and says, don't trust
the deep.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Bug spray is not working. We've been hearing from the locals.
Putting gin on your arms and stuff really keeps the
greenheads away because bug spray does not work. But I
guess the smell of gen keeps him away.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
I guess the greenheads don't really want to party.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Huh yeah, I guess not.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Now they do. Tell me it's not as bad on
the beach, but still beware of the greenhead bites on
the north shore. Getting out of here unscathed. Dumb Jerre
