Heartbroken Stoneham Family Offers Reward For Lost Teddy Bear

Teddy, the Shaw family's white, scruffy Teddy bear, is much
more than a toy given to Abby as a child
by a World War two vett with dementia whom she befriended.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Buzzy was wonderful though. He taught me to play checkers
and then chess, and we would call her.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Abby's seven year old daughter, Aubrey, has since adopted Teddy.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Mom and daughter are heartbroken. First few nights were really rough.
He slept with me every night. She cried every night,
she was inconsolable.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
They think they may have lost Teddy at the Warren
Hatchery in New Hampshire or at the food court parking
lot at Salem's Rockingham Mall. This happened August fourteenth.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
My hope is that someone saw him and picked him
up and brought him home, thinking, you know, that's a
cute bear. And I'm hoping that.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Their family or their parents hear this and go, oh gosh,
we have that bear. Let's get it back to its owners.

They're offering a two hundred dollars reward in Stoneham's Sherry
