The director of the Manchester by the Sea Museum has
turned heads in town with his immaculate fits, which have
roots in long decades gone by.

I look at illustrations of when it was certainly more
common and more popular.

It was a neat, three piece flannel suit today with
a tie and a straw boater hat. He always dresses
like this. It's not a promotion for the museum. He
just likes looking put together. Matthew says he took a
liking to these outfits during the pandemic, but his love
of history dates to elementary school. The twenty six year
old says he's just doing this for himself, though maybe
the rest of his generation is something to learn.
