'Jaws' The Play Making Its Final Splash On Martha's Vineyard

Bill Henny brought this thing to the North Shore Music
Theater earlier this summer, and then they brought it to
the Vineyard, the markedas Vineyard Performing Arts Center in Oak Bluffs.
Karen Nassam Benni is the chief operating officer of the theater.
I spoke with her about these final shows, and it's
kind of emotional. The Shark is broken ending for them.

It's been a journey. I mean, when you think about
taking a boat, putting it into a truck, putting it
on a ferry, unloading it in Martha's Vineyard, it's been
a really wild ride, but nowhere better than Martha's Vineyards.
Celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of Jaws. The timing was amazing.
The people on the island just embraced it and loved it,
and of course everyone had a story to tell about
the making of Jaws.

And this show, which dove into the behind the scenes
chaos and clashing personalities and the filming of Jaws was
such a big hit that Karen tells me she's been
hearing stories about people taking the ferry over to the
Vineyard just to see the show and then head right
back home. The Shark is broken. One last chance to
see it on the vineyard. It runs through the weekend.
