Lawmakers Hear Bill To Establish Task Force For Motorized Bikes

And I see people all the time just coming down
and just ripping, you know, you see them on the sidewalks.
Guys are hopping crabs and stuff.

And stuff like that. Lawmakers hope to apply the brakes on.
The Committee on Transportation is looking at a bill that
would create a task force to improve the enforcement of
existing laws on motorized bikes, scooters, and mopeds.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
I mean even you'll see them going between traffic and stuff.
But I mean, honestly, if I had one, I'd probably.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Do it too, dude.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
It takes for having to get home, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
While some think a task force is needed.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Yeah, of course people learned how to drive better.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Some others think it won't work.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
What are they gonna do. They trying to chase them
down unless they are on mopeds and motorcycles too, and
then they can get them. But I mean, like you
can't stop that, you know what I mean, It's unstoppable.
It's probably like a waste of time to start the task.
