We do want to make hunger history. I want to
make hunger illegal.

Congressman Jim McGovern and Congresswoman Aana Presley sit at the
head of a round table talk on food insecurity, and
the message is clear from food banks, charities and the
families themselves struggling to feed their kids.

Jeffrey Mchughe, Commissioner of the Department of Transitional assistant says
one point one million people one in six of Massachusetts
residents rely on snap and there's fewer dollars there for
them to fall back on since cuts from the Trump administration.

We have to figure out a monitorum strategy to fix
up what is we cut in this big ugly bill.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
And the Commonwealth Kitchen made their concerns known down the
road that farm workers are afraid to go to their
jobs because of mass deportation efforts. Some crops remain unpicked
and may even spoil instead of going to those who
