Massachusetts Educators Honored At State House Ceremony

Nine different educators who graduated years ago from the nine
schools that make up the state's university system were honored
at this annual alumni award ceremony. One of them was
Jeene Wallace, a graduate of the mass College of Art
who has spent more than twenty years doing what she loves.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
I think one of the most important things about teaching
is being able to share my love for art with others.
I've taught in many different places, and some of the
things that I love about teaching, like in.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
A school for a therapeutic school for kids.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Who have special needs, is that the art is so
important to them.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Her advice to anybody thinking of going into teaching, you
have to love it because it takes a lot of
time and a lot of work. But for Jane and
the other eight educators honored here, it's been worth it.
