Mayor Wu Celebrates Caribbean Carnival After ICE Vows To 'Flood' Boston

It's a celebration of Boston's culturally rich and diverse Caribbean community.
The Caribbean Festivals Parade this year taking place against the
backdrop of mistrust and fear spawned by President Trump's immigration
policies and ICE's aggressive tactics in so called sanctuary cities
like Boston.

But here we're being asked not to help enforce criminal law,
but actually to carry out mass deportations when there has
not been a criminal warrant obtained.

Mayor Michelle Wu has vowed not to cooperate with Trump's tactics.
Her challenger in this year's mayoral race, Josh Kraft, agrees
with Wu on immigration.
