The realization came to Bedside to Harvest when she rode
on buses in Boston and was able to roll her
stroller on no problem.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
And then I was like, wait, what are we doing?
We need that in our buses.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
So she actually works for MIVA, the local bus system
in the Merrimack Valley. Up until recently, parents had to
fold up the strollers and put them underneath the buses,
causing a headache for mothers with small children with a
push from Bedside and a couple of others that since change.
Noah burger Is, the MIVA administrator, says this policy is
a part of listening to the customers. They would permanently
fair free a couple months ago.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
You know, it's not just because we've been fair free.
It's part of being responsive to our customers more frequent service.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
The new policy means strollers can roll right onto the bus,
provided there's room and parents keep a free hand on them.
