All summer long, the Mathuin Arlington Neighborhood Park has been
an oasis of fun, laughter, and activities, all free of charge.
Linda Sussi is the founder.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
So we've definitely target the ten to fourteen year old
kids who would be left alone because their parents can't
afford a babysit up, so we want to get those
kids out of the houses.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
In here, around one hundred kids have been enjoying free breakfast, lunch,
and even field trips. But today is the final day
of this summer's program and the kids know it.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
I'm like sad because I don't want to go to school.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Did rather be here?

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah, I don't want to go to school
because after wake up so early.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
If it wasn't for the program during the summer, what
would be doing instead? I would prob I just be
sitting home all day being boord.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
They're already looking forward to spending next summer right back
