They can be a drag when beaches are closed in
the late spring and summer.

I selfishly love it because I can walk my dog
on the beach.

Though dogs can't contribute to poor water quality in bacteria
that shuts beaches down.

It washes in when there are lots of rain, which
is why we're having these problems.

The State Department of Public Health post lists of beaches
with poor water quality on mass doc of each day
and updates them all week from eight am till five.
They also warn not to swim at beaches with high
bacteria level. That recently has included Malibu and Tennean Beaches
in Boston. So this loco goes Plan B.

It's all temporary and sometimes you just have to buy
an alternate beaches.
