Needham Police Department Investigates Series Of Car Break-Ins

Good, dumb, blunt words to describe the folks who leave
car keys or fobs and they're unlocked cars right for
the picking police say for car thieves at night.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
So yeah, twenty of them. One car was stolen, but
they're just going through all the cars.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
She lives in near Highland Avenue and need them and
spent a good chunk of time this weekend reporting the
driveway deviance to the proper authorities.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
What they're doing is they're opening the passenger side door,
either with a jimmy or something, leaving the passenger door open,
not closing it so that they don't wake up the dogs.
So the question is why aren't any alarms going off?

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Police say they caught multiple suspects in the wake of
dozens of break ins and one night alone surrounding towns
like Lexington or reporting similar problems.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
