Speaker 1 (00:00):
The popularity of hydranges continues to grow in New England.
JJ Caloriso of Caloriso's Farm Standing Garden Center in Reading
recommends the endless Summer variety.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
It blooms like an endless summer, like you have blooms
early on. It's May, and we have some that are
popping with color already and they're going to bloom well
into the fall.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
There's another advantage to the endless summer variety.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
It also blooms from the old growth. So not only

new buds, but you also get the growth from last
year's and the years before.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
And JJ has some tips help you keep up with
the neighbors hydranges.

Speaker 2 (00:35):

runoff that it doesn't sit in water all the time.
They're not huge sun lovers. Personally. I have them sitting
behind a wall. They get a little bit of afternoon
sun and that helps them out a lot.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
