New Framingham Catholic School To Open Next Week

It's a rare sight in Metro West, a new Catholic
school opening up next week.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
So affordable coed Catholic high school. It's a little harder
to find these days because some other schools have been closing.
So it's really about a grassroot effort of parents that
want something special for their kids.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
That's Headmaster Ed Coughlin of the soon to be opened
Chesterton Academy of the Immacuolada in Framingham. He says, this
tiny school is basically willed into existence by a small
group of parents who thought the other options were either
too expensive or not what they were looking for. I
found one of them, Lynn with paint all over her hands.

My son who will be starting ninth grade here on Tuesday,
and I are painting the boys bathroom.

Chesterton Academy is a worldwide franchise with schools from Connecticut
to Japan. This is just one of them. There will
be only a handful of kids to start, but maybe
more and different activities than you'd expect.

And another thing we offered this unique is ballroom dancing.
