For a fifth day. Striking workers man picket lines at
Republic Services facilities in five communities, refusing to work, demanding
the trash hall or offer them a fair contract, joining
them on the picket line this holiday weekend. Union firefighters
for the City of Peaboty Corey Desmond, as president of
the Pevity Firefighters Union Local nine twenty five.

Organized labor is a fight that we all have to
stand for so we have safe working contracts.

You know, It's what we do as unions. We stand
for what's right.

The company says it's committed to good faith negotiations. The
strike has become contentious, the company accusing the union of
interfering with replacement drivers. The work stoppage has also impacted
