After operating for about five years, the Transition Wellness Center
on Cambridge Street is soon closing its doors, and it
is fifty eight beds for the twenty or so unhoused
people remaining here. That means needing new accommodations. The Cambridge
City Manager says the Transition Center was a temporary measure
brought upon by the pandemic. Their asking the council to
appropriate funds and prioritize potential new programs as the city
