Plymouth Considers New Restrictions For E-Bikes

They don't know about laws of the road at all.

Some of the e bike stories you'll hear about talking
to both drivers and pedestrians along the bustling stretches of
Court Street right in the heart of Plymouth.

So they just kind of do what they want because
it's like fun. I guess they have no other way
to get around.

Just worry about their safety and the safety apparent of
the pedestrians, and.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
That's why town leadership is currently drawing up plans to
increase town specific regulations for some e bikes, some ideas
requiring people to be at least sixteen and a half
with a driver's license to ride them, and also register
your e bike with the town. If you don't, you
can face a fine. They're currently reviewing different proposals. Claire
hopes there could be a balance if and when new
