Preparations Begin For The Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival

The sculpting sand arrived here on Saturday, and sculptors are
going to be working all week on the beach. The
first thing they'll create is the centerpiece, which celebrates the
two hundredth anniversary of the American Revolution.

So there's going to be like a big giant like
US flag with Paul Revere. And we are having ten
competitors this year, international from US, Canada, Polish, Belgium, Holland,
so we're very excited.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Milanaje Beauregard helps organize these festivals all over the place,
and she says the great thing about the Revere Beach Festival,
which officially kicks off on Friday, is the beautiful location,
the great sculptors, and it's free from Revere Beach. Carl
