Pro-Trainer Weighs In On The Presidential Fitness Test Returning To Schools

We're talking the Presidential Fitness Test and Award, which goes
to the top class performer and exercises like pull ups,
push ups, and of course the mile run.

Being able to do a lot of push ups or
pull ups like that's not exactly the best determinant of
whether a child's fit or not, as you have to
ask fit.

For what pro trainers like Eli tucsont say the focus
should be on benchmarking nutrition, not necessarily timing kids doing
a shuttle run.

Just growing and just like being active, like in general,
I think is more important for children versus how many
pushups they can do.

President Trump's recent executive order aims to bring it back,
but the test was thrown out as a requirement in
public schools more than a decade ago. So I'm saying
it's competitive when it really doesn't need.

To be putting kids against each other, and it's like
making kids who like necessarily can't do it, like feel bad.
