Quincy Wraps Up Inaugural Marina Bay Boardwalk Maritime Celebration

What better way to celebrate a rare sunny Saturday than
outdoor dining, live music, face painting, schooners and more. They
have it all at the Quincy four hundred Maritime Festival
Marina Bay Boardwalk, an event meant to highlight the local
businesses in Marina Bay and show off the cool maritime
history of the area. Mark Carey is with the Mayor's
office and says it's just one step in the plants
to celebrate the city's birthday.

We are all year putting on a whole series of
events to celebrate our four hundredth anniversary as a settlement
in the city of Quincy, and this was just a
great opportunity to kind of show off the marine.

The crowd's been so packed they're already discussing plans for
next year. I bumped into Elias and asked him what
his favorite part of the festival was.

I like about the one line.

Now, do you like the drums? Yes, what's your favorite
part about the drums? They playing some good music?

Yeah, I like how a bang is like bombo.

The event runs through the whole holiday weekend from Quincy.
