Rare 'Calico' Lobster Caught Off Coast Of Massachusetts

Recently, Gloucester lobster man Mike Tuff's caught a one and
thirty million catch off the coast of Massachusetts.

He pulled up this beautiful, really rare orange and black
calico lobster.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
That's Sierra Munos with Northeastern's Marine Science Center in the haunt.
The brilliantly colored orange and black crustacean now calls their
facility home, and just in time for Halloween, her children
named her Jackie, short for Jack o' lantern. The center
is also home to Neptune, a rare blue lobster that's
about a one to two million catch. Sierra says these
rare creatures offer their students a unique learning opportunity about

conservation in the ocean.
